We do recommend having the dezl 760LMT on the dash, as using a GPS device with a clear view of the entire sky is the ideal condition for acquiring satellites. It may be able to pick up the satellite signal in other parts of the vehicle, however it may effect the accuracy on the dezl.
Yes it can. When on the main menu, you'll see a vehicle icon at the top. If you tap that, you can select between three usage modes: truck mode, RV mode, and automobile mode. Thank you. -JPK
Can vias and stops be inserted into a route to make the 760 follow certain roads that it may have not included in it's original route selection? Older garmins required the entry of a lat/long way point to cause this to happen and this was a pain to do, unlike the "click" insertion used by Delorme Street Atlas, for example.
The dezl 760LMT does support traffic alerts as well as safety camera alerts. To see a all compatible models, please visit the Extras section of the Garmin website.
Yes, it does. On the page that has the "Where to?" and "View Map", press the icon at the bottom for "Apps" and it will come up top row right on my unit.
Great question! You can use a backup camera on the dezl 760LMT. That said, a video cable is required to connect the camera to the video-in jack on the devices mounting bracket. If you're able to access the camera to attach a video cable from it to the dezl 760, then it would work just fine. Thanks for asking! *CG
