If the TV is mounted on the same wall as a window, usually the light would have to reflect back to the wall for there to be a glare issue. In most cases, you may see a slight room reflection in the panel when nothing is being shown. When there is picture on the TV, it usually disappears to either a level that doesn't bother most people, or isn't detected or noticed without looking for it.
If you hung your plasma TV on the wall -opposite- of a window with no curtains facing East, you would most assuredly get a glare reflecting from the light behind you, and that would be - frankly speaking - the worst case scenario for those few morning hours. Plasma panels are made of glass, and while there is technology in our panels to help cut down on reflection, it cannot be eliminated entirely.
