The Apps work just fine, and in some rare cases, we update the servers on our end (Samsung) to create a better experience for our customers. This can cause a temporary outage, and we try to make those as painless (and brief!) as possible when they do happen.
YouTube may allow only certain contents, and Netflix service has been consistent and growing for several years. There's no reason to be concerned that the streaming experience will be anything but great.
