For several years, I have used Sound Studio (Felt Tip Software, www.felttip.com) in my Macs. It's available as a free down-load for testing, but must be purchased ($59.95) and registered for full functionality. However, the free version should be capable of handling your needs.
Sound Studio cannot export files in MP3 format. A plug in (kJams LAME.framework) must be installed for this purpose.
The price is reasonable, because the software is very versatile, with an astonishing array of filters and functions.
I recommend that, after the record has been captured by Sound Studio, you run the "Normalize" option, set at -12 DB.
Each of the songs can be identified with a marker, one at the beginning of the record, and the remainder in the quiet space between songs. Each marker can be edited with the name of its song. Finally, select "Split by marker." Sound Studio will export each song as a separate file, identified by a sequential number and the name you supplied.
