How high would the dryer vent be on the back of a stackable washer and dryer from the floor in inches? In new construction, I need to know how high the vent outlet on the wall is going to need to be?
Yes, the SK-5A Stacking Kit accessory is compatible with most Samsung stackable Front Load Washers and Dryers, including the WF206BNW Washer and matching DV2C6BEW Dryer.
This kit is compatible with Samsung WF42H5000, WF42H5200, WF42H5400, WF42H6300 front-load washers and DV42H5000, DV42H5200, DV42H5400 and DV42H6300 dryers.
No, you can't see any of the stacking kit from the front. From the side you can see a little bit of the grey plastic that sits between the washer and dryer but it is not visually disruptive at all (mine are white too!).
I am only 5'2'' and worry about being able to easily load and unload laundry as well as reach controls once they are stacked. I'm assuming you would put washer on bottom with the dryer on top?
Yes, washer is on bottom. You will have no trouble reaching your laundry out of the dryer, but may have a tough time reading the top portion of the control dial
You’re correct that the washer should be placed on the bottom and the dryer on top. When stacked, the WF448 and DV448 stand about 78” tall, and the middle of the dryer’s control panel would stand about 68”-74" high.
You can stack the DV361 Dryer on top of the WF361 Washer using the SK-5A Stacking Kit accessory. I would suggest reviewing the attached alcove or closet installation requirements to ensure you have an appropriate amount of clearance and ventilation.
