With rthe Rocketfish (TVMLPT03) wall mount, How do you conceal the cables? or are they just hanging down from the back of the tv. Thank you for your assistance, Joe
Normally yes but if you have a sound bar you can feed them behind that. You can also get creative and drill a small hole behind the TV and behind the entertainment stand and feed the wires into the wall and through the holes then your cables will not be seen.
Is it possible to securely mount the TV just using the top, not the bottom, holes of the TV bracket - this gives flexibility in terms of lowering the height at which the TV sits on the wall
I DO NOT recommend it. Make sure it is securely fastened to the studs. Some TVs can be heavy, so i dont recommend putting that much strain on only 2 bolts.
If you are in Best Buy look take the box Rocketfish over to the TV section and look at the back of your Samsung TV. It says it fits most TV's and I hung a Sharp Aqua & Insigna. With no problems
Yes. Just go by the hardware store and tell them what you're doing so they can provide the best bolts for you to use. I used 2 1/2" Tapcon screws for mine. Had to get some washers, too. Also, be careful with the heat from your fireplace. TV's can get warm with regular use, but they can get VERY hot when another heat source is added.
I don't know if it will adapt ok or not but I would stay away from the tilting wall mounts. Spend more and get one that come out from the wall. If you buy the Tilting Wall Mount Its hard to plug anything into the ports on the back and tighten up the tilt feature. The Wall Mount Works Fine & Great Product, Just spend that little Extra. You wont Regret it.
I have a 70" Sharp Aquos. How far can the TV be pulled out from the wall? How much can it be rotated, in degrees? I want to pull it out and rotate it so it can be viewed from about a 50 degree angle.
