Q:
I notice that the price is significantly higher than the other Shark Hand Vac model at Best Buy I'm considering to purchase. The specs say that this is powered by an 18-volt battery, while the cheaper Pet Perfect Hand Vac Has a 7-amp motor and a 15.6-volt battery. I don't understand why the specs for this model do not mention how many amps the motor is. It lacks both the washable HEPA filter and edge cleaning technology that the Pet Perfect cleaning pad attachment has. So why is it still more expensive? Is the 18-volt battery making that much of a difference? Does it simply just last longer between charges or is that extra 2.4-volts necessary in order to power a stronger amperage motor? Are there any other benefits that may supersede this device's lack of edge cleaning and washable HEPA filter? Does it even have an air filter? Thanks!!!
