Kirby games are known for being very accessible to all audiences, and this game is no exception. Nintendo has been very good about putting in harder incentives (collectibles) for the more 'hardcore' gamer, which adds a bit of a challenge to the gameplay.

A PS4 Collection of the PS3 Uncharted Games

By now, you probably know everything you need to about the Uncharted series. Gameplay is solid, but the voice acting and camaraderie is what really shines.
I picked this up on PS4 for the updated graphics, but also because PS3 games are not backwards compatible on the PS4; Sony's probably glad that's the case, though, since they've relied on these HD updates to make up for a lack of First Party game releases so far.

MGS V is not a perfect game, but it's pretty great when it's not getting in its own way with a convoluted story or iffy design decisions. Infiltrating bases stealthily, scanning and fultoning everything that isn't bolted down rarely gets old, and it looks beautiful.
The biggest problems the game has are its insistence on researching weapons/upgrades in real-time (meaning you buy an upgrade and it can take a couple hours to finish, and that clock is only running while you are playing the game), and the lack of mission variety. I would also say some of the openworldness of the game stales the longer you play, as it really only matters during side ops. The story (for me) was forgettable--but I feel that way about most video game stories.
There are other minor issues I have with the game, but they don't detract from how fun it is. Overall, I was really impressed with how fresh it felt.

I was a big fan of FE: Awakening, and though I thought the story was fine, was excited to hear about a lot of the changes being implemented into the three releases of FE: Fates (Birthright, Conquest, Revelations).
Since I had played Awakening and thought I had a good grasp of the mechanics, I opted for Conquest, the 'harder' of the two retail games. The story, an area they supposedly worked hard to improve on... sucks. It's really awful, with the "choice" of which side to play unwisely locked to the cart, meaning if you bought Conquest, you're stuck with Conquest even if you find yourself leaning toward the story of Birthright. It's kind of a shame, a decision made, I suspect, to keep the cost of the cartridge down; the whole point of giving the players a choice is to allow them to choose, something you had to do at the point of purchase, rather than as the game unfolds, which is what the designers intended.
The evil characters in this game are as one-dimensional as it gets, and though the core gameplay is still solid, I just don't care about the evil King, or understand why my character, someone who is supposedly a good person, finds any redeeming qualities in him.
Maybe I should've gone with Birthright after all.

Be the hero in Star Fox Zero, the continuation of the legendary Star Fox series. Blast through the enemy forces that are threatening the Lylat system so that you can enjoy peace once more. A variety of tools are at your disposal including the Arwing jet and the Landmaster tank in Star Fox Zero.

Star Fox Zero is, despite what you may have read, a good game. Yes, Nintendo foolishly chose to implement the gamepad in non-essential ways, forcing you to use it (in fact, I played through the entire game just using the cockpit view). Yes, the formula of the series is largely unchanged, with the exception of the phases of bosses and dogfights, and the campaign is short, albeit not un replayability, which is how the series has always been.
Underneath these issues is a good game that could've been great. Nintendo tried something new, and though it works, the game isn't as successful as it could have been. As it might have been, had everyone not lost their mind because it's a new way to play a Star Fox game.
Playing through the campaign, collecting all the medals, and going for high scores are still the crux of the game, something SFZ makes easier to accomplish by allowing you to replay a stage upon completion without penalty, as laser upgrades and bombs no longer carry over from stage to stage.
Bottom line: I 100%ed this game and had a blast doing it.

Finally, the PS4 has a media remote similar to what the PS3 had to offer. It's been improved a bit, as just breathing on it no longer causes the console to turn on (a problem I had with the PS3 version).
Now you pair the remote to your system and turn it on by holding the PS button. Unless the system is in rest mode, then that doesn't work. Why? Don't know. You can hold down the PS4 button on the top instead, which seems to work when the system is in rest mode.
On the plus side, I bought this for use with PS Vue, Sony's internet TV service, and it's great for that and much easier for someone who isn't used to the PS4's controller (like my wife) to work.
Other issues include the way the interface is utilized with certain apps, or un-utilized, as is often the case. Not making all the buttons from the PS4 controller represented on the remote was a huge oversight, meaning app makers now have to remap certain controls to new buttons that don't actually correspond to anything documented, which is problematic when your device releases nearly two years after the system its meant to work with.
Additionally, I played a game while still having the media remote active, and that screwed up how it functioned big time (no idea why). I had to make the PS4 forget the remote, then add it back to fix the issue, but that worked.

Captain Toad Treasures Tracker is a spin off of a mini game found in Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U. It's not really a full game, but at around 15-20 hours (depending on how much of a completionist you are), I think it's priced accordingly.
For the most part, it's a brilliantly executed game that knows what it wants to do, and is charming in its delivery. It controls well, and though most levels are not hardest, finding all the items and completing the hidden objectives offer enough incentive to replay levels if you're into that sort of thing.
There are some minor annoyances, however. Using the gamepad for off-TV play is great, until you have to use the touchpad to perform certain actions, as the graphical overlay obstructs your view of whatever situation you're in. Additionally, your AI buddies in a certain section of the game have horrible follow paths, meaning you have to do some funny things with movement to make sure they all get on the same platform before it goes, otherwise they're sure to fall to their death, meaning you have to start the puzzle over.
Still, it's a fun game, that gets a lot of mileage out of the initial ideas set forth in Super Mario 3D World, with levels and collectibles that gradually increase in difficulty.
