This Envy Phoenix desktop is light years ahead of my eight year old HP Envy, that I kept upgrading, As old parts wore out and I upgraded operating systems from Vista to Windows 7 over the many years, I just wanted to do more and more with my desktop and I think its limited capacities and storage finally made me choose to get a new desktop. So the choice was made to go with this new HP Phoenix Envy desktop, I am pleased with its overall operation so far, and I do love the quick SSD boot up.

Store edited photos, videos, and games on this 3.5-inch Western Digital hard drive. It has dynamic cache for optimizing allocation between reads and writes, and there's plenty of space to store files with its 4TB capacity.

This WD Desktop Everyday SATA 4TB internal hard drive, was chosen to replace an the original 2 TB HP drive, it notably doubled the total storage space to 4 TB, I have had failures in the past using HP drives and Seagate drives as well. This new WD dive seemed quieter that my old drives and overall operation was smooth as well once I had the new drive installed, the drive spins at a 1/3 lower rev rate than the old drive it replaced. So the lower revs and lower noise will hopefully produce less friction and that should lead to a longer disc life. I even bought a second WD 4TB drive and had it installed in this new desktop, for even more storage because I liked the WD operational properties, I now have doubled my total storage capacity to 8 TB. Until SSD drives are available with this type of capacity at a more reasonable cost, I think this is the only way to go.

A sometimes brutal story about rise and the fall of the Kray twins. A british crime pair that ran the London club scene in the late fifties. One brother Reggie was a successful boxer, the other bother Ronnie, a twisted if not, mentally deranged sociopath, with a bent for violence and murder, This is the story of their relationships, and of their rise in London's late 50's criminal underground. Their carrear ultimate peaks the interest from the Philidelphia mob and it pressures the brothers relationship with each other. But this film is also a story of love, as Reggie falls for a local girl, Francis, their marriage takes place against her mothers wishes and it ends in a tragedic way. The film is well acted by the whole cast, and is edited and directed as a taught personal crime drama, with some violent twists and turns, in an effort to show the other than usual side of each of the prime characters, who all seem unable to escape from their social bounds.

This film answers some lingering questions, and also brings in a new generation of characters to cheer for, and to dislike. Spotlight is about the history that leads up to the Boston Globes newspaper articles that appeared in 2002, that exposed local Catholic priests abusing children and the perpetrators' superior's, who covered up those abuses. It's a very intense subject and a well scripted film., The films various characters discuss all the wrongs that were done to them, so it isn't an easy film to watch, but the movie does offer up some valuable messages about the importance of truthfully exposing the wrongs, and of course about making those who abuse their powers accountable for these criminal acts and responsible for the cover up.
