Love those apes

Okay so, I've seen the original flicks about the apes, and they were okay (though really ridiculous in the movie's execution). But this rebooted version left me cheering for Ceasar like a crazy person. I loved his kindness and wisdom, and the characters in general was great, as was the grounded setting for the story itself, implausible as it is.

When I first saw the trailer, my first thought was, "Oh geez! Another stupid movie with a talking animal". Now, I'm an animal love, no doubt, but movies that feature them in any way are typically so ridiculous. That being said, Rocket the Raccoon turned out to be my favorite character. The story was also great, as were the other characters. As for the blu ray, I bought the 3D version, and it was incredible!
BTW, turned out to be one of my favorite movies ever!

Good Headphones, but...

In general, I like these headphones. The only issues I have with them are: 1- They're way too big; they fall off my head every time I move too forward or back. 2- Although the charge last a long time, there is just no indication as to when the battery will die (how much of a charge it has). 3- A bit bulky. 4- Finally, static. There's a lot of interference when I'm too close to the microwave or the computers while watching T.V. with the headphones on. That said, they're not bad for the price.

I never got to see this movie in the theater, so I was anxious to buy it when it came out. All I can say is wow....this movie blew me away. Packed with everything from action and intense deep, to the most incredibly acted emotional scenes that rip through you. And in 3D....wow.

I loved the first Captain America, but this one? It was fantastic! Great characters, story, action and emotion. I loved how they handled the "Winter Soldier" himself. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great super hero movie with heart.
