First Nintendo since NES

This is my first Nintendo product since the NES. All other systems have just seemed far superior from Genesis days, on.
I’m a PS guy, and love my PS4 exclusives.
I am blown away by the Switch. It doesn’t compare graphically to the PS4, as I bought NBA 2k for both, but the fun factor is absolutely there! On the go, I notice ZERO difference in playability. Docked, I opt for the PS4 version.
With that said, I bought it for the Switch exclusives. Mario Odysessy and Zelda are two of the most fun games I have played since, well, Super Mario 3.
I haven’t turned on my PS4 since I bought the Switch. I haven’t purchased Far Cry 5 because I can’t atop playing Zelda.

I’m still an avid 2k player on my PS4, but recently bought a switch for traveling and decided to get this.
It pretty much plays the same. Getting used to the button layout.
Graphics are obviously down from the PS4. They basically look like the graphics on my iPhone or iPad for 2k, but slightly better. Doesn’t stop the fun factor thought. Hoping we can can some more sports games like Madden and NHL!

This is not for everyone. The price is, well, astronomical compared to a carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector together. But, it provides much more than just that.
If you have smart devices in your home, in particular Nest, it will interact with your nest, which will send you notifications in your phone or smart device. For me, my sprinkler system is set up with my nest thermostat. If the smoke detector sends a signal to my thermostat or my thermostat defects heat, my sprinklers turn on outside my house. Obviously doesn’t help what’s inside, but will save it from spreading to neighbors.
Fairly easy install if you are replacing another smoke detector that is hardwired, and you know how to turn your power off.

Answers all my needs

The price is steep and probably not necessary, but it answers all my needs. I needed something that controlled 7 devices, connected to my smart home devices, and worked through a closet door.
This does all of that. I’ve had the 700 and still use the 650 in two rooms of my house, but my living room has tons of devices. It works flawlessly with everything from my ps4, to fire tv, Apple TV, even my home security system.
The price is too much compared to others, but far less than if you went to an audio/video speciality store and bought a $400 remote.

I’m happy to finally have a playable Star Wars game on current gen consoles. Way better than the last battlefront. Story mode is pretty short, but fun. Took me 3 days at about 2-3 hours at a time.
Online play is fine. Not great. Definitely better than the last one. But something is missing. It just feels as though your playing the same thing over and over.
Honestly, wait till it’s on sale.
