This build is for occasional gaming (Sim racing (Forza Motorsport), Call of Duty, Assassins Creed and soon Doom), productivity and photo editing. The best thing for building your own PC is that it’s upgradeable, eventually will upgrade the GPU but for now this build is perfect for all these needs.
I chose the Corsair case and this motherboard was easy to connect and set up all around. This was my first PC build and wanted to build one that was also future proof. This motherboard allowed this because it should be good for the next 6 years without having to upgrade any of the current components. This motherboard delivered on performance, layout and ease of setup.
The build quality was solid and didn’t look cheap, the box came with what I needed for set up. When I turned the system on the BIOS was easy to set up - I had a friend help so that was easier but I put everything together with their help and support.
Overall, the set up was a breeze and the performance was solid. I had not component compatibility issues for a motherboard out of the box.

Solid performer and lightweight

Unboxing the laptop - it was nicely packaged and protected. The first thing that stood out was the color of the laptop is called Jasper gray, its similar to gunmetal color matte finish so you don’t have to worry about fingerprints or scratches. Out of the box it had charge and enough for me to set up new laptop. The set up was very easy and walked me through the entire process as with everything electronic I’m glad they somewhat standardized the process so everything is the same regardless of brand.
During set up I did experience about 5 dropped WiFi connections which I initially thought it was the laptop WiFi card but after troubleshooting it was a small area in my office that contributed to the drops. When I moved the laptop to another area I didn’t experience anymore drops. It was frustrating because I had to repeat the WiFi set up 5 times. As for connectivity after I got through the WiFi issues everything else was a breeze. I am used to using PC laptops for work so it was a good thing because it allowed me to navigate easily.
First impressions the case was very nice, the color and material very solid feeling and didn’t feel cheap. The weight was amazing, I love how light it was and portable for a 14 inch laptop. Very thin and the best part is the power cord was also small and lightweight.
The lighted keyboard was a must and it was bright in low light, the screen was also bright at its brightest setting. When I was typing the keyboard was solid however it had a plastic sound to it when typing. Not a deal breaker because it was solid, tactile and responsive. It would have been nice if it was quieter when typing but again not a deal breaker because the keys did not feel cheap.
Display was very clear and the colors are vibrant, I didn’t have to adjust anything. I had multiple tabs opened, excel, and word open and didn’t have any issues with speed. This is a good buy laptop.
Overall, I highly recommend this laptop if you are looking for a lightweight, portable and solid 14 inch laptop. The price point is reasonable considering the specs are very solid. Also, its pretty fast for productivity and business use.

Great for Productivity and Photo editing

Unboxing - the monitor was nicely packaged and extremely easy to set up. I just attached the base to the telescoping arm, tightened the screws and done with set up. I must say I love the adjustments that can be made with this monitor. The height, tilt and portrait to landscape features allow you to adjust based on preference. I’m on the shorter side and I don’t have an adjustable height desk so I have to lower the monitor pretty low to prevent neck strain. However, with this monitor the height is low enough that I was able to adjust accordingly. Another great feature is the screen size it perfect for the average size desk depth of 25-27inches without it being too large with sitting too close. Also, because of the screen size I was able to have three open windows at the same time to help with productivity. I currently have 3 monitors because of this but this one allowed me to have the same number of windows open.
The graphics and color was very vibrant and clear and text sharpness. The monitor did very well when using all office programs - Word, Excel, One Note and Visio. There was no lag when moving windows or when streaming movies or work web meetings. The teams meetings were very clear as well.
When adjusting the display using the monitor controls it was intuitive and easy to adjust the settings. The 5K resolution would have been awesome but due to limitations of my graphics card on my laptop I wasn’t able to test it out. I was able to test Minecraft on it and again the resolution was great but the only things with this monitor is that its 60hz refresh rate.
Overall, it you are looking for a versatile monitor for photo editing, productivity, streaming and using as an all in one because of limited in the office, I highly recommend this monitor because its large enough to handle multiple screens and use as a TV in an office or dorm room. Also, great monitor for stock intensive programs.

A package for all your styling needs!

This review is for the Shark FlexFusion + Straight Air & Ceramic for wet or dry styling. Unboxing - the package was organized and labeled nicely with what each accessory is responsible for and some suggestions on style settings such as heat and fan speed. There is also a QR for additional styling information and instructions for use. I was excited to check out of the accessories - came with a styling brush, straightener, Two curling rods and a blow dryer attachment that focuses the air.
First the blow dryer - When I opened the box I was immediately impressed with the material and color. I love the color and material used it is well made, solid and doesn’t feel cheap. I also thought the size was nice but when I pulled it out of the box the cord was thick and added weight to the blow dryer. The blow dryer was well marked with heat control and fan speed. Also, the setting for dry or wet hair styling. Which was great because you can following the settings indicated on the box and online to achieve the style you want - curls, straight or no frizz. Attaching all the accessories was also easy to do and it locked on easy and was solid.
Next I washed my hair and tested the styling brush. The styling brush has brushes on 3/4 and ceramic portion for frizz and smoothing/shine. My hair is frizzy and dry and after using this without any styling gel I must say I was impressed with the outcome. It also took 20 minutes to fully dry and straighten my hair which normally takes 30 minutes (dry and then use straightener). I’ll take the 10minutes saved any day. My hair is half is pretty long and thick so I liked the time savings also it didn’t burn my hair because I followed the suggested settings. My hair came out pretty straight with bounce and volume without making it too flat. Smoothed and shined my hair, a tiny frizz in some areas but a little smoothing cream removed it without issues. I then used the straightener to further straighten and shine. I used the dry setting - what was pretty nice was that I wasn’t worried with burning my hair. When I use a traditional straightener I see a little steam but I didn’t see any of that with this system. It straightened very nice and no residue seen after I added straightening gel.
Next I used the curling rods and I loved loved it. It comes with two rods one for the left side and one for the right side. You have to use the correct side because of how the air comes out so it’s easy to use and comes out with the results you want. The curls were light and bouncy and further removed frizz. After adding the curls my hair had more volume and felt very light.
Next I tested the hair dryer by itself and was impressed because I dried my hair in 3 minutes without burning or drying it out and less frizz. Again if you want to achieve specific results follow the suggested settings for heat and fan speed.
Overall, Shark came out with a great product. If you are looking for a complete styling tool this would be a great purchase. Because not only for home use but for traveling! It’s compact and you don’t have to pack multiple units (hair dryer, straightener and curler) you just pack this and the accessories. You can also get away with just bringing the styling brush because it can straighten and curl. I also love how compact the blow dryer is, however I would have given it 4 stars because I felt the power cord was a bit bulky and added weight to a light hair dryer. But the unit exceeded my expectations with versatility and styling options without burning or drying my hair so the power cord wasn’t a deal breaker. The size of the unit with accessories also make the unit larger but the set helps with easy styling.
If you are looking to upgrade and consolidate to a blow dryer with multiple accessories this is a great set. Refer to attached photos.

Great bluetooth headset for home and office!

Unpacking the headset was made of high quality materials, it felt expensive and solid. The contents had everything needed to get started quickly. A quick start guide as well as instructions on the box. It also came with an extra microphone cover which is extra important for keeping the mouthpiece clean after using it after a while. Highly recommend changing it after using it a few times.
I used the headset for a week during all my calls and I must say that I was very impressed with the sound and quality considering it was mono and listening through only one ear. I'm used to using bluetooth earphones for my meetings but found that everyone at work would interrupt me because they could not see that I had ear buds on. Having this on significantly reduced the interruptions because they knew I was in a meeting. The sound quality was very clear and I even had a colleague use it so I can hear how I sounded when speaking during meetings. The sound was very clear and it also cancelled the background noise of their surroundings so I know that when I'm in meetings in the open office area there is no background noise that I normally hear from others.
The headset is also comfortable if you have back to back meetings for 4 hours, which happened a couple of days. After a while I didn't feel them on. The controls were easy to control while on and the on off feature of just moving the mouth piece added to the ease of use. Another feature that sets this headset apart from the rest is that it is bluetooth. Everyone at the office is able to purchase via company store but all they have is wired and everyone asked where I got this bluetooth set.
Another great feature of this headset is that if you want to get stereo sound you can purchase another ear piece and attach it making it the perfect headset for home and office. I highly recommend this BlueParrott bluetooth headset for home and office use if you have a lot of meetings online.
Overall, comfort is great, sound quality is clear and the option to purchase another earpiece for stereo sound is a great feature.

Must have for pet and kid households!

Must have for pet owners!!! I have 4 dogs and 2 cats and one is still being house trained and my one cat is a senior and she has quite a few accidents so this machine comes in handy to make sure all accidents are cleaned - disinfected and sanitized! Keeps the house smelling fresh, when people come over they are impressed and say that your house doesn’t smell like you have any pets living here. I have been looking for a quick go to carpet, fabric cleaner just for maintenance and quick clean ups and Shark delivered. I love how easy the machine is to set up just fill with the cleaning liquid to the line and add water depending on the level of cleaning needed. Extra tough stains or extra cleaning I fill the tank to the max and went over the area two to three times. I was amazed with how dirty the liquid is indicating that it’s doing its job with cleaning the rug, furniture or pet bed. The unit comes with start solutions one oxy detergent and one deep clean pet. Both smell really fresh and always leaves the room smelling sanitized.
The multiple tools are great to choose from depending on the surface and type of cleaning needed. What is also great is that it picks up the hair and prevents it from clogging the machine. One of the other great things shark thought of is cleaning the tubing and brush after use so it the dirt doesn’t stay in the tubing and end up stinking. Genius! Calling all pet owners and people with messy kid this is a must have for your household.

Great for on the go specialty coffees at home!

Nice compact fully automatic coffee & espresso machine. Unboxing, I wasn’t too impressed with the look and feel of the machine. Majority of the body was made of thin flexible feeling plastic which made it feel and look cheap. The water tank was also small compare to others, only 1.8L. Enough of why I rated it only 4 stars.
What is great about this Magnifica Start Automatic Coffee & Espresso is that it is fully automatic just select your favorite espresso based specialty drink (Americano, Latte, Cappucino, Espresso) and press start. Oh wait forgot to mention the built in bean hopper which is a must for on demand specialty coffee, add your beans to the hopper and select how coarse you want the grinds and select coffee type and strength (double shot or single shot). No mess just press and go. The only mess made would be if you are making a cappuccino so the frothing and the cups. Clean up is a breeze just pull out the base and empty the hopper. I like this fully automatic machine for during the work week because there is nothing to think about just what coffee am I craving. So if you are like me and want a specialty coffee for your ride to work then this is a no fuss, no mess fully automatic espresso machine. Easy to set up, use and clean the only downer was the water tank capacity because we like to make two cups for on the go so we have to fill it up daily. I highly recommend this machine.

Commercial grade for home use!

I had the opportunity to try out this KitchenAid Semi Automatic Espresso Maching with built in Burr Grinder and I must say I was pleasantly surprised considering KitchenAid is a top appliance brand, I would not have thought of them as a coffee/espressor brand. The one thing I love is that my entire kitchen is now KitchenAid stainless steel. Enough of how great this espresso machine complements my kitchen.
Unboxing this machine is well built does not feel cheap by any means. It’s built like a commercial machine. Set up was extremely easy just remove the plastic coverings and plug in. Clean up was also extremely easy. Another major plus with this machine is the large water container, which holds 2.5L.
The built in Burr is a plus so you don’t have to worry about having to have a separate grinder you just place the beans in the hopper and select the number of cups and coarse of the grind. The selections are pretty easy to read and maneuver if you are use to making different types of espresso based drinks. You select your grind strength then you press the buttons for frothing, temperature and drip. I made espresso just to taste how well it grinded and followed the directions for tamping and the temp strength. It came out similar to the automatic coffee machine we have at work which is a great compliment. I then tried making my favorite specialty drink for the weekends a Cappucino, during the week its a pot of coffee on the go. It was a lot of fun trying out the different setting with temp, frothing, tamping and different grind strengths without the cost. My favorite was double espresso, high temp. The machine comes with a thermometer to measure the temp so you can make the perfect cup consistently.
I highly recommend this home specialty drink espresso machine if you are like me who likes to experiment so the semi-automatic is the way to go.

Solid construction and easy installation

This review is for the Yale - Approach - Smart Lock WiFi Retrofit Deadbolt.
Unboxing, the materials used for the deadbolt is heavy and sturdy, well made. Some plastic components however the internal components are solid which is the most important part of a deadbolt. The key pad was also well made however not sure if it would hold up to daily use and fingerprint depressions long term. Initially it does seem solid. The kit comes with everything you need however this kit does not mention compatibility with existing deadbolts. I have a Schlage double cylinder deadbolt and when installing the Yale deadbolt the screws did not screw in all the way so it wasn’t flushed or secure to the door. The kit didn’t come with shorter screws so I wasn’t able to install it. Yale should provide compatibility charts to help customers confirm compatibility with existing deadbolts, or just say not compatible with double cylinder deadbolts which is what I have on all my doors including garage interior door.
Overall, the construction of the deadbolt, keypad and components are very well made. Installation was a breeze if I was able to install all the way because the kit provided a QR code for video installation which was excellent and easy to follow. The kit also provide the adapters for deadbolt internal latch however it did not account for screw lengths so the unit did not sit flush.
This was the only reason for giving this 3 stars because I was not going to go out and purchase another deadbolt when the one I had was already expensive. Other than this I would recommend this to others if you are looking to update your locks to a smart lock. Yale makes great solid locks and this was no different. I wanted to like it but they should provide compatibility charts.

This review is for the clear case with black edges and ring. I’m loving this case it literally has all that you need in a case. The case is thin and has protective edges/bumper that protect the phone if dropped from at least 3ft. I didn’t want to try any higher because my phone is new. I have the case for the iPhone 15 pro max. The case was easy to put on and was very secure. It covers all the buttons and just has the openings for the speakers and charging port so everything else is protected. The only thing that I didn’t like is how smooth/slippery the case is. It would have been great if it had some texture so it doesn’t feel like it will slip out of my hand.
The thing I like most on this case is the built in round kickstand and it also serves as the MagSafe ring so you don’t have to take the case off to charge it. The rings serves as a pop it, kickstand that turns 360 degrees so you can position the phone any way you want to view screen landscape or portrait. At night you can also have it in landscape position and charge it at the same time.
Overall if you are looking for a case that is versatile meaning you want one that is MagSafe compatible, has a kickstand, and very protective if dropped this is the case for you!
