Great phone holder, but feels breakable

This was the ideal phone holder for my situation. I did not want something hanging on for dear life from (and blocking) my air vents. Also, I use a magnetic backing on my phone, so it just slides around and turns on its own accord with magnetic holders. This holder keeps my phone securely in place, connected to the car where it does not block vents and is extremely accessible. Also, the sticky ring has held onto my dashboard through cold and very hot with no issues of it coming off. The only drawback to this holder is that you must be extremely careful in setting its raised/lowered position, because that one adjustment is not controlled by friction rings (like all of its other adjustments are, which are good), but instead by a plastic clicking mechanism inside the unit that feels like you will easily break it off (on the inside) if you adjust it with too much force. That is, if you want to move the arm up or down once you have attached the unit to your dashboard, you'd better use both hands and be really gentle or you might break the whole unit.

Amazing effects, great story

This fun movie gives a unique perspective on how no matter who we are, we can accomplish amazing things. The music and effects and general color theme (lots of shadows and dark colors) enhance the story line and the concept of the need for the rats to hide. The rats are well-drawn and look and move like rats. The clarity of audio and video is Bluray-amazing. I'd give it five stars, but having caught my share of mice in real life, and seeing how realistic the rats look and move, I found myself watching the movie in that lens and cringing every time even the hero rat gets anywhere near food... This is not your Disney Cinderella cute-mouse movie, this is a real rat movie. Still, for its unique perspective on a worn-out Disney theme (you can do whatever you put your mind to no matter who you are), I recommend it as part of a video library.

Outstanding video and audio quality

I've watched this amazing movie many times on VHS, and the colors have become very washed out. So, I bought this Bluray version and was extremely happy with the results: The video is strikingly beautiful and showed even shades of white and gray in the snow scenes that I had never noticed before. The audio is also fantastic, with no feedback in the louder sections as is typical with VHS. A keeper!

Amazing clarity and sound, but no menu

I give full marks because of the amazing video and audio clarity of this timeless movie, one of my favorites. I have watched the VHS version for years and finally buckled down and got the Bluray and watched it last night. I was stunned by the clarity of all elements. Sometimes a digital version of an amazing VHS animated film is not an improvement because it takes away the VHS warmth. Not the case here; this Bluray version is light-years better than the VHS and enhances this movie by many levels up. The only problem with this particular item is that it has no menu before the movie starts. That is, you insert the movie, and it starts playing. If you want a menu, say to get captions, you have to press Top Menu WHILE the movie is playing, not before it starts, and then you have to backtrack the movie to its beginning. Also, since there is no pre-movie menu, there are also no special features. This is the movie, the whole movie, and nothing but the movie, so help you Hollywood... But if you like this film, you will love this experience.

Near-stunning video and stunning audio clarity

Another of my favorite films. I watched this one dozens of times on VHS and instantly fell in love with the warm colors and smooth visual/scene changes, but the loud audio sections were always a bit feedback-y and hard to listen to--especially the last climactic chorus at the end just before the credits. I then got the DVD and was disappointed, because the visual was too crisp and lost the VHS color warmth and smoothness. Now I got the Bluray, and I am nearly stunned by the positives: In almost all cases, the visual elements have both the sharpness and color clarity of digital while keeping the VHS color warmth and smoothness I grew to love, and the audio has zero feedback--even that climactic chorus at the end just before the credits. The only thing that I could detect that still isn't as good as VHS is one of my very favorite scenes, where Belle walks out of the town (at the beginning) and sings "I want much more than this provincial life," and the camera does a 360 around her while she does her own 360 in the opposite direction; this scene has always been my benchmark in comparing VHS vs digital, because VHS does it so smoothly, while even this Bluray gets close but still doesn't quite hit the mark because its super-clarity just barely makes that scene not as smooth as VHS, and that lack of smoothness is just noticeable enough to be annoying. Perhaps 4k would fix it? In any case, since VHS has gone the way of the dodo and we all have to live with digital, I strongly recommend at least the Bluray version of this film (i.e., not DVD).

Fantastic movie, even if HD is too clear

This has always been one of my favorite movies. I saw it many times on VHS, so I decided to try the Bluray for great clarity. What I got was the great movie that I've always loved, but wide-screen so that it became a new and wondrous experience to see more on the left and right (VHS is formatted to fit a normal old-style TV screen). The wide-screen is awesome, as well as the audio clarity, but the extreme video clarity makes certain scenes a bit too jumpy. This was especially the case in the scene where Anya first comes into the old palace and the dancers come out of the windows. In the VHS, this is very smooth and elegant even though the dancers suddenly appear out of the windows. In this Bluray, the dancers practically explode from the windows and the smoothness is lost. So I dropped one star simply because the digital experience for this film is not quite as good as the VHS experience. But since finding a working VHS player is nearly impossible and digital is the way things are now, it is well worth it to get this movie just to be able to watch it at all, and the wide-screen is a definite plus.

This movie far exceeds all the advertising and trailers they put out for it when it was in the theaters. The plot is solid and endearing, the drama pulls you well through a roller-coaster of emotions (lots of twists and turns, not too much boring cliche here), the humor has relatively little bathroom humor (and what there is of that is not raw), the music is over-the-top. And all in HD with amazing picture and audio quality! This is one I'll watch more than once, so it's worth the money!

A great movie with HD clarity!

I have watched this movie faithfully every year at Christmastime and love it every time. Until now, I watched it on my old VHS player. This Bluray gives such stunning clarity, I discovered many small details that I've never noticed before (such as the individual coconut shavings young George spoons on Mary's sundae at the beginning, or the sheer clarity of each actor's/actresses's facial expressions). Plus, having the caption text turned on, I discovered many lines that I hadn't known they were saying. Plus, the audio quality is better than VHS, it's got a lot less distortion. The screen size is the same small size as you find on VHS (i.e., black spaces on left and right if watching it on an HD TV), but the clarity and captions and audio quality make this version (even in original black and white) so much better than before! A keeper!
