Good Entry Level VR

This isn't premium VR. It's also not smartphone VR. It's definitely somewhere in the middle. It's cheap enough and accessible enough for most people to just "plug and play", which is a good thing. After a few hours into Resident Evil 7, I decided it would be worth my time (and money) to give it a shot in VR, and I'm glad I did. VR actually improved the mechanics of the game, but this isn't a game review, it's a VR review.
Let me address the "VR sickness" debate. I don't get motion sickness. I can read in moving cars, ride on boats, etc without getting queasy. The first time I used PlayStation VR, I played for more than 2 hours before I started to feel sick. The next night, less than an hour and I started to sweat and feel nauseated. I realized it only started to affect me if I had to keep taking the VR headset off and on (check text messages, finding food/drink). My recommendation, if you're going to play in VR, do your best to stay in VR.
Anyways, on the technical side of things. It works well. The head tracking is accurate (though I'm sure that comes down to the game). My biggest complaint is probably the most frequent complaint, and that's the resolution of the screen inside the headset. While the jagged edges caused by low resolution, and the "muddy" textures can be noticeable, the bigger problem is the "screen door" effect that makes everything look a little dull and dingy, or as the name suggests, like you're looking at the world through a screen door. It's not a dealbreaker, but it does kind of cheapen the overall experience.
Yes, there is a lack of quality content right now, with most "games" being glorified tech demos, but Resident Evil 7, though not perfect on VR, is a heck on an experience. There are also some games on the horizon that give me hope that PlayStation VR will be more than an expensive gimmick.
VR isn't for everyone, and it's a hard recommendation, but if you have the means (and the stomach) I say go for it.

Works for VR

What can I say? I got this to go along with my VR headset. It does what it's supposed to do. It loses a star for the "stand", which isn't nearly as adjustable as I'd like. It doesn't rotate side to side, and the vertical movement is rather limited. If your TV is at an off angle (such as on a corner TV stand) placement might be a bit of an issue, though the camera view seems to be wide enough to cover a decent sized space.

Great Wireless Doorbell

First, I don't have a hard wired doorbell. I'd tried a number of cheap battery powered doorbells (we're talking AA battery type doorbells). They died fast and were unreliable.
Second, I work from home. I live in a "private" neighborhood with signs reading "No Solicitors" posted everywhere. Well, those are signs, not gates and fences, so solicitors come around anyways. Since I expect a lot of packages that I have to sign for, having to answer the door for solicitors can get tedious. After an unusually busy week of solicitors pounding on my door, I decided to get a Ring.
Initially, everyone who saw it was put off by it. I guess some people don't like being on camera. Unfortunately for them, the convenience of knowing who is at my door, whether I'm away from home or on a business call, more than makes up for their discomfort. I've had it for a month or so and it still has a lot of battery left. Once it gets too low, I just have to unscrew it and charge it back up. The biggest "problem" was tweaking the motion detection, which still isn't perfect, but is necessary to catch the people who try to bypass the camera by pounding on the door instead. Also, some of the mobile alerts are inconsistent, though I blame the mobile apps for that. If you decide a Ring is for you, I'd definitely recommend getting one of the powered "chimes" to go along with it.

If you have a Ring doorbell, you know that alerts to your smartphone can be kind of slow sometimes. I don't have a hard wired doorbell, and this makes my Ring doorbell that much more like a real doorbell. With that said, it works well enough, though some of the pre-programmed doorbell sounds are pretty quiet, even at full volume. The speaker is definitely not "high fidelity", so the sound is pretty rough. It's defnitely better than nothing, and good enough for what it's for. Without this, my Ring doorbell would have to go, as I can't always count on the mobile apps to consistently notify me.

Don't spend more

This is a great power strip that won't cost you a lot of money. I can't think of many reasons to spend more than this on a "name brand" power strip. Insignia might be a store brand, but don't let that fool you. They do make some quality components. There is adequate spacing for bigger "wall wart" style power bricks on this, though unfortunately, not on every outlet. My biggest complaint isn't really with the power strip itself though, it's more with the fact that more and more companies are creating power adapters that plug in "sideways" (for standard wall outlets), which causes unnecessary overlapping on these "side-by-side" style power strips. You can't win!

I got these to go with my PlaystationVR, as the bundled earbuds just weren't cutting it. These headphones are great, including a number of VR specific features over the "Gold" versions. The headphones fit nicely over the VR headset. My biggest complaint, though not enough to remove a star, is the headband is a soft rubber material rather than a padded foam of similar headsets. This harder rubber material tends to rub the top of my head wrong. It's not as bad as unpadded headphones, and it might just be my pointy head, but they can get a little irritating to wear for long periods of time. Still, the quality (hello metal headband) more than makes up for the rest.

I would have a hard time recommending this to you if you're playing by yourself, though it's still fun for that as well. The game really shines with friends. While you can play with just one other person, the game clearly wants you to have a team of 4. It's not an amazing game, and the story is forgettable, but it's definitely a good time. Oh, and the amount of real world weapons and customization is pretty amazing.

If you don't mind cutting holes in your wall, these are great for hiding cables from a wall mounted TV. The only drawback is they are relatively narrow, so they aren't perfect for more complicated setups that require a lot of cabling.
