Has potential

Like this product for the most part. As I think others have said, the connect doesn't work all that well (we've tried 4 outlets in various places within 5-20 feet of the door and the BLE connection never shows more than "good"). The smart alerts (which I guess are in beta) don't work. On at least one occasion the auto unlock didn't work for me. I think there may be some confusion with the Apple HomeKit app; it doesn't always update with the correct status.
Alexa often can't lock the door. It either says she is doing it and then doesn't, or thinks for a few seconds before saying "August is busy". That can be annoying.
I love the idea of the product, and I do love the auto unlock feature when I come home. Very handy when you have your hands full so you don't have to pull out yours keys. But this definitely needs some work, and it's pricey given that it has a number of flaws. Hopefully it will continue to improve.

Enjoying the Hue lights so far. We have one (of 4) bulbs that acts up a bit if it is controlled by a light switch rather than the Hue app or by voice with Alexa (we've had to unscrew and screw it back in a couple times to reset it), but overall we love it.
