Decent if you aren't looking to upgrade later

I bought this on black friday, but later found out that the remote for the u it would disable my factory keyless entry. I ended up swapping out the unit for a Compustar remote start. At least I learned about the differences between the two BEFORE I got the Viper unit installed. The Compustar unit can easily be programmed to work with your factory key fob, or later upgraded.

I was tired of my traditional hard drive slowing everything down on my old laptop, so after looking into newer laptops, I discovered it wasn't my processor but my hard drive that slowed things down so much. I gave the solid state hard drive a chance and it works great as an alternative to a new computer altogether. I would recommend getting a hard drive with similar size to the one you're replacing though. I returned this one and got a 480 GB solid state before I installed this one.
I couldn't be happier with it. It's so much faster now and the load and startup times are only a few seconds instead of a few minutes!

Durable for work, but some issues

The headset works great for work. The only problem I have is that the noise cancellation doesn't work well. It picks up every noise around me from the tools being used. When the speaker gets clogged from Fiberglas or other dust, I just ran it throuh the laundry with my clothes as a last resort! Works great again!!! Lol

Can this drive be used externally with a 2.5 enclosure, I want to use it to transfer data from an old laptop drive that's close to dieing ?
You can use the solid state drive as a traditional usb drive for backups. Try to get one with included software to make the cloning process easier. I had to make a backup disk, and it was a pain in the butt for me to figure out, but after that is done everything else is just so easy. I'm not a techy guy so I had to call the support guy for the company you mentioned. He sounds like Cristopher Walken. Lol
I love my solid state drive though and it really did make a huge difference in load times! Only a few seconds instead of minutes now!!!
