I finally hooked this subwoofer up to my sound system. I'm running a Marantz SR6011 Receiver, a pair of Klipsch R-28F Floor standing speakers, and a pair of Klipsch R-15 for surround speakers. I have it set to the LFE mode. Oh my! what a difference it made. I watched a movie that I had currently seen so I new the all the sound effects in it. It added a whole new dimension to the sound, the intensity and rumbling that this subwoofer produced during those same sound effects were eye opening. At times I had to turn the volume down. I'm still fine tuning it to blend it in more with the rest of my sound system, but I am impressed.

This movie is very pretty to look at. A sort of Bladerunner like look and feel to it. I've never seen the animated features, but I suppose this is a fairly enjoyable outing. The 4K blu-ray itself is a little dark for my taste but there is still a lot of fine detail to see. Great sound though.

I saw this movie when I was teenager in the 80's. I was expecting some cheap horror entertainment, what a surprise I got. It was unexpectedly different that it mixed horror with comedy with just the right balance. I got a good moviegoing experience that night.

There is slight but noticeable difference in sharpness on the 4K version compared to the 1080 blu ray, but the 1080 blu ray was already a pretty good transfer, nevertheless, the 4K is a solid picture.
The movie itself. It kind of grows on you. When I saw Watchmen in the theaters i was so-so about it, but upon repeat viewings you get the gist of it. You either love it or hate it.
