Good for Hardwood, Less so on Carpets/Rugs

First off, please note this is really a cordless handheld vacuum. As such, it does a commendable job as a cordless vacuum. That is, it is really for lighter chores. However, it gives the impression that it can be used for regular vacuuming duties with its floor/carpet. It seems to do an okay job on hardwood flooring but just a fair job on carpeting even with the Ion mode on. Given that this is a handheld, the dirt canister is rather small. When I used it to vacuum a 9x12 rug, it filled the dirt canister rather quickly but I did notice it was not extremely powerful since it didn’t sound too powerful and it had problems going in certain directions of the rug. After filling the dirt canister, I went over the rug again with a corded Shark DuoClean vacuum and got twice the dirt that was sucked up from the cordless IonFlex. So while it does a commendable job on hardwood, it is woefully underpowered for carpets and rugs.

Surprisingly the sound quality was pretty good and the earbuds were comfortable as well as fitting securely. To get the most out of these Bluetooth earbuds, you should download the Sony Headphones Connect app. The noise cancellation feature worked pretty well and blocked sufficient ambient noise to make listening more enjoyable. However the downsides of these earbuds make it an average performer that does not justify the price point. Using it on phone calls, the phone audio only comes out on one side of the earbuds and this makes it very annoying and uncomfortable to use because one ear is hearing much noise and the other is getting audio. Also having the battery charge last just three hours, limits the functionality of the earbuds to short duration usages. Can't use it throughout the day in the office or on long flights. The case can recharge the earbuds but takes about a couple of hours to fully recharge and the case is large --- much larger than need be and making it not fit comfortably in the pants pockets. Skinny tight jeans are out of the question if you intent to carry the case in your pant pockets.

Good Value 2-in-1

So far so good. As with any laptop, if it does what it is supposed to do then there isn't really much to say. For what I use it for, this laptop was more than capable. I am able to stream and watch videos without problems and the graphics was rather good although the picture display lighting was dimmer than I would like. The Bang & Olufsen speakers were more than capable of filling a small room with hi-def sound and made watching videos and playing games that much more enjoyable. On the downside, the 2-in-1 seems a bit heavy and the batteries sure didn't last as long as it claimed to be able to last. I personally get around 6 hours or so of charge. Other than that I believe the AMD Ryzen 5 chipped laptop offers better value than similar 2-in-1 laptops that utilizes an Intel chip.

Gorgeous laptop with some limitations

From an aesthetic viewpoint, the laptop is sleek and gorgeous; however, its sleekness brings limitations. With such a streamline form, it can't come with a optical disk drive. The lack of a optical disk drive usually is not a deal breaker for most but HP's approach to external ports may limit the utility of the laptop for some. The form factor is not conducive to typical type-A USB ports nor HDMI ports although the BestBuy website description states that this model comes with a HDMI port. The laptop does come with three type-C USB ports and my laptop came with a type-C to type-A USB cord. So if you want to utilize this laptop as your everyday work horse, you'll find it not as functional as you may have hope. Since there are no HDMI ports or type-C USB ports, you may have to upgrade your other accessories to gain full utility of the laptop. Meaning, if you want to utilize a mouse with the laptop or connect it to a larger display for times where you need to share the display with others or just want view the contents on a larger display then you'll find yourself not able to connect to an external display due to lack of HDMI and VGA ports. As for using a mouse, you can probably connect a cabled/wireless mouse to the type-c to type-a dongle or upgrade your mouse to a Bluetooth enabled mouse.
The display was fully high def and provided a gorgeous picture when streaming. However, when I paused a video stream to allow it to download a bit, I find that when I resumed playback, the video would stutter. I've never encountered this with any other laptop so don't know what the cause is. When I just stream a video without pausing it, I don't have the stutter issues and it plays beautifully without issues. I have had multiple windows opened simultaneously working on spreadsheets, word documents, streaming videos, and just plain surfing the net and did not encounter any performance issues.
Other than some of the annoying issues due to its form actor, this laptop is a very good laptop.

Makes a Great Cup of Coffee

The Keurig K-Select is sleek attractive coffee maker that fits well on my kitchen counter. It works flawlessly and makes a great cup of coffee. It should be noted that the brewing temperature cannot be modified as was able with past older Keurig machines. The coffee brews at a lower temperature but still able to make a tasteful cup of joe.

Very Good Moderate Budget Phone

Okay, to start off, this is not a flagship Samsung 7 or 8 nor is it an iPhone whatever so don't expect it to be better than those phones. What it is, however, is a very good phone that performs very well for a moderately priced smart phone. This is one of the purest unlocked android phone on the market...meaning that it doesn't come with all the bloatware that you typically get pre-installed with phones from a Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T. You put whatever apps you really want/need vice someone pre-determining what goes on the phone. Had no problems having multiple apps open and running at the same time. There were no detectable lags and did not run hot. The calls received and made on the phone were clear. The screen was a bit washed out in bright sunlight but mostly fine for usage. The camera takes decent but not great pictures. Skin tones were on the yellowish side in low light and the pictures were not as vibrant or clear as compared to a Samsung S7 or iPhone 7 camera.

Good Things Do Come in Small Packages

I am impressed with the performance of the Polk Magnfi Mini given that it is a relatively small soundbar (approx. 13" in length). It definitely enhanced the audio to make watching movies more enjoyable. Setting up the Magnifi Mini was relatively easy although I could not get the soundbar working with the HDMI port and had to resort to the optical port for connecting the TV. The wireless subwoofer paired up without a hitch and added depth to the audio. After setting up the soundbar, I watched "Saving Private Benjamin". The bass from the subwoofer was very impressive however the midrange was a little lacking and the pinging of the bullets was a bit tinny to my ears and the dialogue was a bit too high pitch for more liking. But being able to feel the vibration of the explosions and the wide soundstage produced by the Magnifi Mini made watching the movie fun. I also hooked up my stereo to the soundbar via the 3.5 mm auxiliary input which allowed me to listen to the stereo with adequate sound quality. An audiophile would probably not enjoy listening to music through it but it was more than acceptable to my tone depth ears. One annoyance I had with this soundbar that others may not have issue with is that the soundbar, although relatively small, is that the soundbar's 3" height blocks my LG TV's IR sensor if I center it right in front of the TV. The soundbar doesn't have an IR pass-through so in order to use my TV remote, I would have to place the soundbar off-center so it doesn't block the IR sensor. In doing so, the audio seems to come off-center. Other than these minor annoyances, I would recommend the soundbar especially if you are limited in space.

Quality hoses but questionable value

So, when I bought my washing machine at BestBuy and arranged for them to deliver and install, BestBuy had me buy the Smart Choice braided stainless steel washing machine fill hoses in order for them to install. Granted that they are nice quality and better than the rubber hoses that were used to connect my old washer, the price for the hoses at BestBuy is higher than comparable hoses that could be elsewhere. My recommendation is to price compare before buying it at BestBuy otherwise you'll find it a not so best buy.

This was my first high-efficiency washing machine so I was kind of apprehensive about how well it would clean clothes without an agitator given that some of the clothes sit above the water line. Well I am glad to said that the washer does an admirable job cleaning clothes. This is a mid-budget HE top loader and does not have all the bells and whistles and wash cycles that higher end models have but do I really need literally bells and whistles to tell me my clothes have completed the wash cycle or that it spins 30% to 40% faster? Not in my opinion. So thumbs up to this machine which I gladly recommend.

The Shark Powered Lift-Away Speed with DuoClean felt light but yet was very powerful and did a wonderful job vacuuming. Although I have always though my old vacuum cleaner does an admirable job in vacuuming my rugs, the Shark Powered Lift-Away impressed me when I was able to pick up more fine particle dust after having already vacuumed the rugs with my old vacuum. I especially like how easy it was to switch from rug to hardwood floor with a simple push of a switch on the handle. And being able to detach the canister so that I can easily vacuum under my sofa was a big plus. The only downside was that this specific model did not have a caddy for the canister so that you have to carry it around when detached.
