Not as good as the last horror comedy I watched, The Final Girls, but it was entertaining. There are some crazy scenes in this one that are a bit over the top, but that's what this movie is all about. Good late night movie to watch!

First Time Playing

Assassin's Creed Unity has been a satisfying experience for me. I have got the platinum trophy of this game and I enjoyed most of the gameplay.
What I love most is the extremely detailed 18th century Paris, from stunning re-creation of famous buildings and structures (both outside and indoor appearances and decorations) to its near real life residents. I would spend hours just walking on the streets and looking at those buildings like a tourist. As for structure modeling, this game is more like an art piece than a video game. I took quite a few screenshots on my PS4, my favorites are some of the luxury indoor decorations of the palaces, the rooms are so immersive and highly detailed that I felt like I was actually there. As for the rich amount of NPC populate, I saw all kinds of activities and it is definitely the most living world in the entire franchise. Since I do engineering related work in real life, I was surprised to find one of the earliest sanding machine. I found it in a machine workshop, a guy was operating on the sandinging machine which is powered by his feet stepping on the pedal instead of electricity, with a workpiece in his hand. Just a normal folk doing his job. There are many activities like this waiting for players to discover.
The combat system is lacking. Counter-kill doesn't exist anymore and the combat is a bit dull. Arno doesn't have an arsenal of gadgets like Batman in Arkham series nor wraith abilities like Talion in Shadow of Mordor. Since high level enemies are able to parry your first two strikes, players are put in a defensive position: waiting for enemies to strike, counter them then get a few clean hits. I would love to see a counter-kill mechanics similar with the very first Assassin's Creed game, where counter-kill relies on strict timing. The enemies are also much deadly because they can use firearms and flash grenade against you. The snipers are able to detect and attack players from 30 meters (estimated) away but player's pistols and rifles have a maximum range of 25 meters (estimated). In short, there is no way to counter-snipe them. And for many missions it is very difficult to stay undetected.
Assassin's Creed Unity has the weakest story line in the franchise. The creed has faded ever since Revelations and I think it reached all-time low in Black Flag and Unity. Arno's actions lack motives, he has his own agenda and blindly follows lead after lead. At the very end he forgets why he even joined the brotherhood in the first place. Again, this is my personal take. On the other hand, Unity has a variety of side missions. I enjoyed the murder mysteries missions where you help a police officer solving crimes. You have to use your brain to analyze evidences instead of cutting down enemies. Those missions are indeed carefully crafted along with Paris story missions and riddles. I highly recommend those who haven't tried them to give it a shot.
Coop missions now use p2p connection and for the most part is unplayable since other players' PING can be very high. Expect super lagging.

I am fan of Jay Wayne Jenkins AKA Jeezy! I have been a fan of Hip-Hop since 1987. I have watched it grow and change for the good and for the bad. This album is rooted in the idea of I have made but I haven't forgotten where I come from........I haven't gotten the sacrifice or struggles of myself and the people around me. Jeezy album "Church In These Streets" tells you both sides of the game. This album is motivation music. There only 2 features on this album and the production is top notch. Don't get it twisted "Church In These Streets" is laced with message if you listen to it and don't skim thru it.

The fire, spirit and energy of Logic, the Def Jam flow-smith from Gaithersburg, Maryland, could not be contained one more year without the release of another vast hip-hop LP of lyrical aesthetics and cerebral conditioning. He has quickly followed up his 2014 debut Under Pressure with a new studio project of greater ambition, titled The Incredible True Story (released Nov. 13). Like Under Pressure, this sophomore effort from Visionary Music Group's most celebrated artist is a lyrics-fest that flaunts Logic's crisp chops over tappable music by Logic himself, 6ix, C-Sick, DJ Khalil and several others. Working around a set of skits that focus on a space team in search of a livable planet after a future Earth apocalypse, The Incredible True Story is in fact an incredible story in which Logic shows no paucity of persistence, confidence and logical intelligence.
After the initial warmup phase and some requisite boosting, boasting and bragging (necessities of the culture), Logic openly reveals his life and inner thoughts for us to explore and contemplate, having proved in the first five songs with his neat fantastically fast delivery that he can compete at the highest level in the sport of rapping. In "Innermission" featuring Lucy Rose, he candidly shares his dreams, worries, memories and his higher goals and aspirations, and later on he states his intention to "make a difference" in "Lord Willing."
The album's midpoint dividing line marked by "City of Stars" presents Logic singing in the style of Kanye West circa 808s & Heartbreak with him reveling in outer space, defending Drake and showing his disapproval of race-amplification in hip-hop. He is keenly aware of some of the major problems of the world today in the Dria-assisted "Stainless" saying we're "living in a world where the truth dies and hate multiplies" and by admonishing us to "stop spending money on things that glisten." Fast forward to "Never Been," and Logic again shares more of his learned values like "climbing over ego to master will." The album ends with a classically happy ending in the concluding title track when our space travelers land on Planet Paradise and voilà!... they find exactly what they've been looking for all along.
Short in modesty yet cohesive and cleverly produced musically, The Incredible True Story is intentionally idealistic and sweetly, almost naively optimistic, but for Logic, he also knows that in life, pain is not an option. It's a guarantee. The whole album is a fight (the good kind), where Logic won't take a dive or "no" for an answer, where the many messages are so dignified and humbly balanced that it's impossible to call them moral lip service. While Logic may seem more concerned with exercising his voracious vocal cords than slowing them down to say something really crazy, the fact remains that he has put together a real first class hip-hop album once agai

Hip Hop At It's Finest

Six years ago in a rap game that was just starting to usher in the new guard, Jadakiss (Jason Phillips) of Yonkers, NY, The LOX and D-Block released his third studio album, The Last Kiss. It might very well be his last kiss, but it surely wasn’t the last of Jadakiss, who is still a sought after feature in hip-hop after twenty plus years in the industry. Top 5 Dead or Alive, his fourth LP, comes out today (Friday, Nov. 20), and while it may not make a bulletproof case for putting him in the top five rappers of all time, it does continue his solid solo discography, which started back in 2001 with Kiss Tha Game Goodbye followed by Kiss of Death in 2004. This Top 5 album boasts Jadakiss as he has always been, raspy, lyrical and gangsta, and it’s got a rugged feel and many great guests. Fans have been served all of this before in the same format, but it is Jada’s plentiful new rhymes that will have them flocking back.
He starts by bragging and flagrantly calling himself “top 5 dead or alive” in “First 48” and follows it up with a skit in which a man talks down the importance of “bars” in today's hip-hop ("Shop Talk"). Clearly, Jadakiss's intent is to debunk the sentiment with his own hardcore bars, and he is mostly successful to that end. Top 5 is very familiar and typical for Jadakiss overall though. He sticks to the street code, rues childhood criminals, takes one trip to the strip club and generally just keeps it hood for the full hour. His "don't shoot, can't breathe" statement in "Jason" adequately connects him to the Black Lives Matter movement, and his messages of courage, confidence and commitment elsewhere are needed to supplement the many prominent hustler-sections. It all ends with "One More Mile To Go," a standard empowerment song and a good enough way to end the album.
You have to hand it to Jadakiss for continuing to stir up excitement with his recognizable style and voice, even if he doesn't have a ton of different angles technically speaking. His companions on this Def Jam sponsored LP are mostly old friends except for Future, Wiz Khalifa, Nipsey Hussle and his new protégé Young Adz so Top 5 is authentic indeed. The production is both of Jada's era and equipped with arsenals of drill so the music benefits from that update though a few parts are quite hectic and discordant (the harsh cluttered beat of "You Can See" and the buzzy shrieking one on "Man in the Mirror"). A heavy title to live up to, Top 5 Dead or Alive does save itself from embarrassment thankfully. Nothing is terribly flawed or weak, and it does have what big Jadakiss fans love most about him, his gruff, guttural unhurried style and plenty of his nonstop ruthless rhymes

If your a fan of problems and wild for the night you might want to pass on this one, rocky sets a darker tone on this album. Production is very good even though he has mostly different producers than his previous albums ( no clams casino) but all in all the album flows well, does not seem like any track is out of its place, rocky still spits his unique slurrd type of flow as usual. Lyrics are on point. Can listen to entire album easy without skipping but you want to skip the mediocre tracks to get to his better tracks. All in all I really enjoyed the album nice to hear something a little different. 5 out of 5

More Harmless fun

San Andreas had me on the edge of my seat,I lost track of how many times I said "OMG". Just when you thought the worst is over, something even worse happens.
The special effects where incredible sending you through a whole range of emotions,rendering you unprepared for what you would feel next and/or to what extent.
The amazing, cinematic, awesome inspiring epic sequences were absolutely brilliant. A great depiction of a mind boggling earthquake,followed by a tsunami. This actually really frightened me into thinking about the serious,loss of human life and devastation this type of disaster would cause if it were to really happen,bone chilling to say the least.
There were great performances by all actors and actresses e.g. Dwayne Johnson as an outstanding helicopter rescue pilot who gave us a preview of his skill during an opening scene depicting a nearly impossible accident rescue. Paul Giamatti fit very well as the seismologist scientist. The family drama offered a more personal slant,making it a great ultimate survival story and suspenseful movie.
A definite must see for fans of movies like 2012 and Day After Tomorrow,this action-packed film will knock your socks off.
