need ethernet connection to set up

I bought this router (my 3rd one) by recommendation from the clerk, it has a reach of 5,000 sq ft. My house is3800 sq ft. so I thought it would work fine. I had problems at first getting a signal upstairs, then the day the geek squad guy came out, I moved the plug from the surge protector to the wall, and the signal came in fine, while he was there. One week later, I started having problems upstairs again, so I adjusted the antena, and seems to help, signal is fine again. Saved me allot of money not having to buy the mega router plus 2 power boosters that are compatible with that company's router, so if you live in an old house that is big and who knows what might be interfering, I think it works well for the money. For a new person to the wireless internet it was a little difficult to set up, I needed to be guided on the phone. Customer service was very good (and patient). The set up had to be re-done with a hardwire (ethernet) connection a second time because of some reason I didn't understand. It works fine now, so I shouldn't complain, but wouldn't be my first choice next time for problem spots. It really depends on your situation. Most homes it would be great. This was my 3rd one, and it is working great now.

wanted a cloth to clean surface of cell and was sold this, does NOT work
I purchased this because Best Buy does not sell the Rocketfish cleaning clothes anymore and salesman said this is what BB sells now. But it doesn't work. Button stayed depressed after one squirt and about 1/2 inch circle of moisture appeared on cell phone surface. Please explain what this was for and what does everyone use to remove smudges and oils from the surface area on cell phones. Thanks for anyone's RSVP.
I was wondering about the moisture also. Wasn't aware of the use for cell phones, bought it to blow off dust on my keyboard. I was shocked to see water or whatever it was come out of hte can and prayed it didn't ruin my brand new 1k computer! I am not too happy w/ my purchase and don't really see the advantage either. If you get a satisfactory answer to this I would be interested also.

Does this come with a mount for it ?
in the set of 2 you get 4 mounts. with the add on one, I got one. The ones that come with it are magnetic, so if you have it in a high place it will work just fine. I had to buy an additional mount (found a cheap one with a 360 ball on the tip, can't say where or they will delete my answer) for one corner so I could aim it around the corner and eliminate an area that was setting off due to a sidewalk.

I would say no. The night vision cameras will reflect off your windows and set it off constantly.

it is designed to work on your smartphone but you can run it from your computer as well, with the wifi.

they store it in the cloud for a week. You can buy MORE storage if you want, but if you want to save your recording, just download it to your computer, and it's yours for however long you need to have it.

How do you set the cameras to record?
from your computer or your smart phone. go to arlo.netgear.com and find the app there (for the phone) they don't have an app for the computer yet, but theres a way to get it on your dashboard that I found. Otherwise, when you tell it what to do (ie. send an email) you can not only see whats going on, but sign right into arlo from that email.
