Air Pods are not perfect. I have had issue occasionally with connection between Apple products. I am disappointed that Apple not only delayed the release of the product...But also had a shortage available at launch. No remote does take some getting use to. But the cool thing with having an Apple Watch, I can access all of the remote features there.
Bottom line, this is a quality product but if you can wait for the second generation you might be better off.
