So far we have loved this receiver. We had an older sony that was definitely not rated for hdmi or 4k. This one allows all my devices to plug in and go through one output to the tv.
So far only complaint is the bluetooth. Not a huge deal, but have yet to get it to connect with a device. This one was missing some of the manuals and such so it is possible there are steps we are missing.
The auto-calibration microphone that came with the receiver made setup really simple.
Overall pleased.

We had a samsung blu ray player that was a few years old. The interface for it was just not intuitive, it was slow and we were just done with it. Bought this one on sale. It may be because we had such a lack luster one for so long, but we love the way this works. You are stuck with the functionality it comes with, but it works for us. All the important stuff (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) are all there.

This movie was actually really good. It was somewhat original. Alot of the action and effects were awesome. The characters were believable. You could see alot of the plot coming, but it didn't make the movie any less enjoyable.

I am still partial to Christian Bale's Batman, and believe MIchael Keaton played the character best, but this movie brings alive some new characters for DC. Of the newer movies they have produced (pretty much the ones since "Man of Steel" that are supposed to tie together), this one in my opinion is the best. Lots of characters, and most are pretty good and at the very least interesting. Very good movie with a good cast.

This movie was a surprise. Samuel L Jackson, Margo Robie (Harley Quinn from suicide squad), and Aleksander Skarsgaard play the main characters you follow through much of the film. They were excellent. The historical context also helps add much to the story. Overall the story is pretty common for Tarzan; he saves Jane. But the way they presented the character was somewhat new and I really enjoyed it. Great movie; fun to watch.

Wife loves the colors and the case

Wife just bought an ipad air 2. It was to replace an old busted up ipad. She loves this case. The colors are pretty awesome from her perspective and as far as protection goes this one is pretty good. It has a plastic screen protector built in as well as a stand in the back. The rubber bumpers around the edges are very thick and spongy; seem like they would absorb alot of impact.

what is pass-thru feature? what does it do for you?
I am guessing you are referring to the feature that allows your devices to plug into the receiver via the hdmi cable and the receiver passes through whichever input you select to the tv. You don't have to scroll through inputs on the tv anymore you can do both volume and input selection via the remote of the receiver. It's actually pretty nice.
