not sure how dock works

had to return surface book after buying this docking station because the usb ports would keep disconnecting.
exchanged doc for new one thinking it was the problem but issue continued with new docking station so I took book to microsoft and bestbuy and both couldn't figure it out but to say I needed to rest my book. they figure it was a software problem. decided I didn't want to do this since all the software on the book was what I needed and didn't want to have to do with out any of them.
Therefore, as I said not sure if this docking station was good or bad but as far as it working as a charger it did work well.

great product not as powerful as I needed it to be

Does everything we needed but it did struggle a little when we needed it to knead dough for some pasta we were trying to make. we just added more water and it seemed to help.
Sid Note: Girl that helped made us jump through hoops to get the price match even made me go to another store to see if they had the product cheaper and then I returned to show her the cheaper price but she then gave me a hard time about the color not being the same and it was more expensive for the color we wanted. So my son finally looked the correct color I wanted on amazon and it was cheaper and she finally gave me the price I originally went there for.

awesome laptop! does everything I need

I've been going back and forth between a iMAC 27" and this Surface Book for months.. I've been looking at pricing and performance and both always came out a tie for me. What broke the tie? Jaycee.. a great employee at the store. She was so knowledgeable and helpful it made my decision simple in the end. She made me see that this laptop was going to do everything for me and it was also had one big advantage over the iMac 27". I could take it with me anywhere. and if I needed a big screen I could always connect it to an external 27" 4k monitor.
I've been playing with it for the last couple of days and it is fast, easy to use and so far does everything i need it to do. I still have to stress test it with my post processing and slide shows but I'm confident it will do well since it hasn't let me down yet.
