Rome, 67 A.D. Many movies with Christian themes have not been well made. This is not one of those. This movie was very well done. It's about the Apostle Paul's later life in prison and his influence on the Christian community from there. Another major part of the story is the relationship between Paul and his companion and writer of the Book Of Acts Luke. The film is emotionally gripping, and gives us a sense of Paul and Luke as persons. The story is not a recitation of scripture, but is an excellent historical drama,

While this sequel is not as good as the first "Pacific Rim", it was not bad. There was a lot of action and the acting was okay. But, the giant alien kaijus are no longer really presenting a threat. The action in this one is more like giant robots fighting other giant robots. Disappointing after the excellent monsters in the original. Still, it's an ok movie - worth viewing to see for yourself.

Picks up right where Star Wars VII left off. Some may think it's slow, but the typical Star Wars action sequences are more balanced in this one by scenes with some thoughtful dialogue between the main characters. The transition to the new generation also continues. More to come in Star Wars IX.
