This 2nd episode in the Capt America series was even better than the 1st. Good action and the story line fits right into the Avenger series and the whole Marvel universe. I especially liked the inclusion of the lesser know Avengers: Black Widow and Falcon.

A good sequel to the 1st Hobbit movie; it picks up right where the Unexpected Journey left off. This is another sweeping adventure from Peter Jackson. Some parts are a little slow, but "The Hobbit" is only one small book, so it is a bit of a stretch to make it into 3 movies. But Peter Jackson fans will enjoy the great cinematography and plenty of action. The movie just abruptly ends, leaving you waiting for the end of the story (hopefully coming next year in part 3).

Both the 1st and this movie are faithful to the books. Love the actors, especially Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson and Donald Sutherland. This is the middle of the trilogy, and the movie doesn't have a typical ending; it just stops, leaving you waiting for more action - which will come in the future 3rd movie. This is not a stand-alone movie, but is a very well done middle part of a bigger story. Can't wait for the next installment.

The photography is great - reminds me of 2001: A Space Odyssey. The vastness and unfriendliness of space comes through as both awesome and threatening. The characters draw you in to what they are feeling. Good story - keeps moving, never lets you rest, but some of the free moving sequences in space are a bit "superhero"-ish. I enjoyed the movie very much.

What's not so great: The jumps without tethers are a stretch, comicbook-ish.
