Had to replace, but good product

The one I bought at a BB store needed to be replaced within 3 months by Ring.com due to a hardware defect. In fact, the one I received as a replacement had an extra set of connectors on the back of it and *correctly* hardwired to my house unlike the original. So, if you get one, wire it up to the doorbell wires you already have, and it doesn't show "hardwired" in the app, just call Ring.com and let them know; see if you can save yourself the hassle. Otherwise what'll happen is likely what happened to me - in 3mo or so the thing just dies. The battery will charge when you plug it in, but go from 100% -> 0% in a matter of seconds after unplugging. Once Ring.com sees this on their end, they'll issue you a replacement.
The service itself is good and works as advertised. I'm still a bit unclear as to what, exactly, the cloud recording gets me. I don't know if it's a stored history of everything, or the flat out ability to *ever* see who's at my door. This isn't as clearly painted as I'd like. I ended up signing up for the service but may cancel just to see if/how it changes things and how I can use the doorbell.
When wired properly, the doorbell *DOES* ring your inside doorbell, draws power from that circuit (so the battery never dies) and will also send a push notification from your phone.

Good device, only a "companion" tho

I acquired a Blaze after my Microsoft Band 2's strap broke and - due to it being discontinued - I wasn't able to get a replacement.
The Blaze is mediocre at what it does, and it doesn't do much. For example, you can't even set an alarm on the device without using the companion app on the phone. There's little to no reason for this in my opinion. You can set a timer, use a stopwatch, and start/stop exercise & other sessions and that's about it. Beyond that you must always use the app on your phone.
Similarly, Fitbit still hasn't mastered the art of counting steps. I hit my step count while I was wrapping Christmas presents this past holiday. Not exactly a workout. Since then I've encountered numerous similar situations. The Microsoft Band was infinitely better at counting steps. The upside is I "meet" my goals more often and I'm higher up on my friend board....
In addition, charging is clunky as heck. You have to pop the entire face out of the band, put it in this "pod" and that's how it charges. Nowhere near as slick as simply taking it off and attaching a charging cable like the Band was. I realize there are charging stands that alleviate this problem, but why do I have to buy another accessory?
Strap design is solid, though. I don't anticipate this one breaking like the MS Band always did. It's also nice they're interchangeable.
For the price I think Fitbit could do better.

Handling a "creative" very well

The day we got this the usage was to print on some 5x7 envelopes, but also have an AIO (we were downsizing from a Canon Pixma Pro 9000)
After a sub-par experience attempting to print on envelops with another AIO, we gave this one a shot and everything worked great.
It wired up to our network without issue and also integrates well with many remote print options (google cloud, e-mail, etc)
So far we haven't been disappointed!

My washer actually came with fill hoses so these weren't *required* for my installation. So double check the "what's in the box" for the washer you're looking at if you're getting these as part of a new purchase.

A dinger that'll make you dance

I was a bit skeptical that I didn't need a water hookup for the steam part of this dryer but the skepticism was dispelled upon installation. You simply load a water container and insert it in to a drawer on the dryer just like you load detergent in the washer. It uses only about half the capacity for a stem cycle that's done well for us (5-person family).
Capacity is large and comes with a rack to put things like shoes, hats, etc on and dry those as well.
Bonus: Any time the "I'm done" tone plays, my 2 year old stops whatever he's doing and dances. Personally I find it a tad bit annoying and miss the days of buzzers you could hear wherever you were in the house.

Once you go Harmony, you never go back. I had no idea this remote existed and just needed a "cheap" universal remote to handle the loss of one of our remotes during a recent move.
As I was looking around my local store I saw this thing and couldn't believe the price. Done deal.
My *only* criticisms are:
1) Only 1 task supported: Watch TV. Anything else you want to do w/ it you'll have to manually choose the device(s) and punch the right buttons to get yourself there. Wish it supported at least one other task for the price.

My doorbell is hard wired but on the left side of my house next to the door. That way it I'm afraid it doesn't face the person when they walk up the steps and ring the doorbell. Can it be turned slightly so that it faces the person walking up my steps.
you don't need to worry about this. you'll see the person. it has a 180deg view and you see it as a "fish-eye" lens

Will the XP-830 print various size envelopes?
We successfully printed on 5x7 envelopes w/o issue.
If the tray adjusters are any indication, it can handle other sizes as well.
