Oh there are so many great memories from the ps2 version. This one captures the feel of the original and builds on it. More quests, characters and faster item creation. Also you can see the enemies now which is a plus. Only thing the ps2 better was the music. However, if you never played the original, you will not notice the difference. I would buy copies for any relatives or friends who wanted this game. Thats how great it is.

This game is fantastic. If you have the ps4 pro and a nice quality 4k HDR tv it will give you 3 different choices for the graphics. Really enjoying the story and there is tons of additional content as well. This game is better than Uncharted 1 and 3 to me. 2 is an all time great game and 4 was really good too. However this game is probably the benchmark of what other games should look like. I bought it for full price minus the GCU and do not regret it.

This game is a terribly fun and cute game. For long time DQ fans, you will have a huge smile. The combat and graphics are great. I love the British voice acting as well. If you're a Hyrule Warriors fan, this is for you.
The one item that keeps this from being a 5 star game is a lack of co op or multiplayer. Couch co op would have put this game over the top. If the Wii U can do it with Hyrule, this game could have. Heck I would have paid for 2 copies if it could have at least done multi player to play with my kids. We had a blast years ago on the DS playing DQ9

3 great games for the price of one. UC2 is an all time great game. UC1 and UC3 are great as well. 1080p and 60fps looks nice. Some of the graphics still look a little date though. But pound for pound this is a great deal for anyone who has never played the series. Also the pre order bonus was fantastic. You can literally call up the 2 overpowered weapons at any time in the game.
