Great step up from default!

Anybody that uses a Sony camcorder for any extended amount of time will truly appreciate extra power, especially in this case. The battery size and dimensions are exactly the same as the default battery, but with more than twice the power. Charge times are also not significantly longer than the default. A great buy!

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is a first-person shooter (FPS) that revolves around unique gameplay that propels the Call of Duty franchise into a world of future warfare and back again to the modern era. The game is a sequel to the 2010 release, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and features returning Black Ops characters Sgt. Frank Woods and Agent Alex Mason, joined by a wealth of new characters. To understand the future, you must understand the pastPushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops II propels players into a near future, 21st-century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare between old and new foes. In this conflict, the mechanized creations of men reign supreme, facing off against each other as their creators stay safe and unconflicted, and in the process grow ever softer. In this scenario an important question will be asked: what happens when enemy steals the keys? To understand such a possible future, you must understand where you have been.Players of Call of Duty: Black Ops II gain an understanding of this and more through the game's additional timeline set in the late Cold War era of the 1980's. Within the campaign story, which spans these two eras, players will see familiar faces such as Alex Mason, his son David Mason, and Sgt. Frank Woods. Linking these together will be the rise of another player in the conflict, Raul Menendez.

Best multiplayer to date

Note that my review is only for the multiplayer section and online play.
In terms of the continuing multiplayer franchise, Black Ops II is the most balanced online multiplayer to date, with good maps, a variety of gametypes and a balanced weapon sandbox. Key playlists are always populated.
Perks are not as overpowering as in previous Call of Duty titles. The weapon balance is very good, with very few weapons that are considered overpowered. Proper balance changes have been implemented to correct weapon issues.
The DLC released so far has been well executed, with maps that both play well and look stunning. The first DLC even introduced a new weapon.
My Best Buy number: 2625652282
What's great about it: Great maps, gametypes, weapon balance
What's not so great: Some unbalanced matchmaking

Build or modify your own PC:No

Primary reason for building/modifying PC:Gaming
In order for me to use the AMD Radeon HD 6670 on my computer, I needed a stronger power supply. I was originally going to buy the 400W Dynex, but decided on the larger one for safety.
The cables were straightforward, easy to install, and the CPS fit perfectly in my computer. Pretty much enough said, and it is quiet too!
What's great about it: Easy to install, enough cables to use.

The days of primitive joysticks and wheel paddles are long gone. Modern gaming requires a precise, responsive and comfortable controller, and the Xbox 360 stands right on the cutting edge. When you're ready to switch between your games, movies and music, you don't want to be bogged down by tedious menus and selection screens. Experience thrilling gameplay with the new standard in wired controllers. The Xbox 360 Controller features compact ergonomics for comfortable play and accommodates gamers of all sizes and skill levels. The centralized Xbox Guide button provides you with instant access to your digital movies, music and games at just the touch of a glowing button. Adjustable vibration feedback results in a more personalized gaming experience, and the unit works with most Windows Vista-based PCs in addition. An integrated port accepts the Xbox 360 headset, and the extended 9' cable lets you sit a comfortable distance from the screen. The next generation of gaming and entertainment is here.

Should be the standard!

Even though wireless controllers may be the standard package, a wired controller is much more reliable in the long run and better for competition. Since it doesn't use a battery pack, the controller is much lighter.
A wired controller never lags and a player will never have to worry about battery life or signal interference, as well as not having to synchronize a controller to a console.
What's great about it: Durable, long cord, worth the cost.

Good UPS, hope to never need it though!
By rockersk08 from Las Vegas, NV
I've been putting off on buying a UPS for my electronics for a long time, and when I found this one on sale, I decided to give it a shot. As I do a bit of video editing on my desktop, I like to have the insurance policy in the case of a power outage.
The kit was a bit larger than I thought, but it fits easily into most spots since it can be stood upright or mounted to the wall. There were enough ports for both regular and battery power, so I didn't need a second power strip for non-essentials.
The USB connectivity is quite useful in keeping track of the UPS function. I was surprised at getting only 20 minutes backup time when the box stated 45, but reading it closely that number is for all in one PCs with low power consumption. Mine is more standard and did fall in line with the 15-20 minute backup time.
I personally hope that I never have to experience the UPS in action, but I take comfort in knowing that should a power outage occur, I can safely power down my PC. I didn't give it a five star rating as I have yet to see how the device functions in those conditions, as I don't want to use my PC as a test, but I'll give it the benefit of doubt.

OP Update
May 12, 2014
I wanted to post an update to my original review as I experienced my first power outage with the device set. High winds rolled into my town and cut off the power for about an hour. When it did, my UPS kicked in and beeped, notifying me of the switch. I was rendering a video at the time and the UPS did its job. The batter was slated for 20 minutes, and although I had to cancel the render, I was able to successfully shut down my computer without problems. So I would say it works great!
