Great sound for an 8" sub

First of all this is a great sub and it does more for the money you spend on it. The bass is great and not distorted. In my opinion this is due to the bigger enclosure as it is more than a cubic foot unlike other 8" subs. It is adjustable to fire forward if you do not like the downward firing woofer design. The remote control comes in handy when you are adjusting the volume and settings with your sound system. The power specs on this are wrong however. This is not a 600W sub and continuous power cannot be 600W as well. Per Polk's site this is 360W at peak and RMS is probably around 180W. I gave it 5 stars not because it is the best sub (that is purely up to your preference) but because of its great performance and additional features that justify it's price range.

What's great about it: Puts out good clear and rich bass for its small size. Remote to adjust volume really helps

What's not so great: Subs with more power are available within same price range if that is what you want

I would recommend this to a friend!
