I recently upgraded to the ASUS ProArt PZ13 Convertible Tablet, and I couldn’t be more impressed. This device truly lives up to its reputation for combining power, flexibility, and style. As a professional who relies on both high performance and flexibility, this device has quickly become an indispensable tool in my workflow.
The ProArt PZ13 packs a punch with its Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus 8-Core processor and 16GB of RAM. I frequently run demanding applications for graphic design and video editing, and this tablet handles everything smoothly. There’s no lag or slowdown, even with multiple applications running simultaneously. The 1TB SSD is a major plus, offering abundant storage and speedy access to files, which makes data management effortless.
It came with excellent packing and setup is same process as any other windows PCs. The entire setup process completed within 5 mins, and it comes Windows 11 OS. The convertible design is fantastic with detachable magnetic cover stand and keyboard. Switching between laptop and tablet modes is seamless, and the build quality is top-notch. The tablet feels sturdy yet remains lightweight and portable, which is perfect for on-the-go use. The 13.3-inch display is bright, sharp, and color-accurate, which is crucial for my creative work. The touch screen is highly responsive, enhancing the overall user experience and OLED Lumina touch display is exceptional.
Despite its powerful performance, the ProArt PZ13 is remarkably portable. It’s compact enough to carry around easily, and the battery life is impressive. I can work through an entire day of meetings, editing, and browsing without needing to recharge, which is a significant advantage for my mobile lifestyle. Excellent Wi-Fi 6 Router for Indoor / Outdoor!

I recently upgraded to the TP-Link Deco AX5400 Wi-Fi 6 Indoor/Outdoor Whole Home Mesh System 4-Pack (Deco XM73), and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Setting up the Deco AX5400 was a breeze. The Deco app made the process incredibly simple, providing clear instructions and visual guides. I was able to get all four units set up in less than 20 minutes, and the app immediately recognized all the devices in my home. I didn't have to mess around with any complicated settings, which was a huge plus.
The coverage is phenomenal. My house is about 2,900 square feet with two stories, and I’ve always had dead spots in the first floor and the far corners of the backyard. With the Deco XM73, those issues are completely gone. I now have fast, reliable Wi-Fi in every room, even outside on the patio. The speeds are impressive, and I haven’t noticed any slowdown, even with multiple devices streaming, gaming, and working from home simultaneously.
I love the clean, modern design of the Deco units. They’re small enough to place almost anywhere without being an eyesore. The outdoor unit is rugged and weatherproof, and it’s great to have reliable Wi-Fi coverage outside, especially for backyard gatherings or working on the porch. The Deco app is one of the best I’ve used for a networking product. It’s user-friendly and provides a lot of control over the network. I can easily see which devices are connected, manage bandwidth, and set up parental controls. I also appreciate the ability to schedule Wi-Fi access for different devices, which is great for managing screen time for the kids.
After installing this mesh system, I’ve experienced zero dropouts or connectivity issues. The system automatically switches devices between units as needed, maintaining a strong, stable connection throughout my home. The performance boost from Wi-Fi 6 is noticeable, with faster speeds and better handling of multiple devices compared to my old router. I can confidently say it’s worth every penny. The four-pack is perfect for covering a large area, and the performance and features justify the cost. It's a long-term investment that has significantly improved my internet experience at home.

Excellent External 4K Catpure Card!

I was looking for external 4K capture card and got the Elgato - 4K X. It came with Elgato 4K capture card, 8K HDMI 2.1 cable and USB 3.2 Type C cable. Setup is very easy, and it is plug and plug to a windows PC or Mac by connecting USB-C cable to the capture card and PC. The HDMI can be connected to a camcorder or gaming console and HDMI out can be connected monitor / TV. I have downloaded Elgato 4K capture utility software to get maximum quality from this capture card and OBS can be used as well for streaming. I have streamed an event in 4K via YouTube and quality of 4K streaming is exceptional from this capture card. There is no delay or lag in capture while playing games in XBOX X or PS5.
The Elgato software is very easy to use. Stream Link is a new feature which is in beta added in 4K Capture Utility Update 1.1 which allow to record clean video and audio in 4K Capture Utility while utilizing the same video and audio in 3rd party software such as OBS Studio or XSplit with the maximum of 1080p60. The recording quality can be set up to 4K with bitrate of 140 MBps. The picture brightness, contrast, saturation, and Hue settings can be adjusted as well. The build quality is great, and it is very lightweight. It supports maximum resolution of 2160p (4K) @ 120 FPS with amazing 144Hz refresh rate along with HDR10 compatibility. It comes with two years warranty. I was using different capture card before and Elgato 4K X exceeded expectation due to high quality video capture, no lag and lot of supported devices without any complex setup. It is amazing capture card for gamers, YouTube content creators and live streaming.

Compact and Lightweight SSD Drive for Mac!

I was looking for external SSD drive for my MacBook pro and got Crucial X9 Pro 2TB portable SSD made for Mac. It came with Crucial X9 Pro and Crucial 10GB/s USB-C to USB-C cable. I am impressed the sleek design and compact factor of this SSD. It made of anodized aluminum and a rubberized soft-touch base with 65 x 50 mm design.
It is plug and play with MacBook pro and it recognized the drive without any installation or additional drivers. It has excellent read / write speed up to 1050MB/s. I was able to register the product by scanning the barcode.

I was able to edit photos and videos using Photoshop and Lightroom and it handled large video files without any issues, and it worked faster than any other SSD drives I have used in the past. The data is stored with Apple’s FileVault volume encryption. It has dust proof and IP55 water / dust resistance and drop-proof durability up to 7.5 feet.
I was able to copy large set of fields within minutes. I have used AmorphousDiskMark app to test the read / write speed and results are matching close to advertised read speed of 1005MB/s and write speed of 960MB/s. It comes with 5-year warranty.
I was able to connect this to iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPad Pro and both recognized this drive. It is much easier to copy the photos and videos from iPhone to this drive quickly. The 4K videos used to take longer time to upload in iCloud copied in few minutes and then I was able to process those vides / photos quickly in MacBook Pro. I am impressed with Crucial X9 PRO 2TB SSD compact size, lightweight and read / write speeds. It is a must have external SSD drive for Apple devices to have extended storage with SSD read / write speeds.

I bought this router to replace my perfectly working Asus RT-66R model. I wanted to change my router just to get bit more range in my new 2200sqft home. Prior to getting this router I have tried one of the best range extender Ampedwireless AE-20. It’s range was excellent, but connection was very much degraded and struggled to get connected at times though it was set up to clone settings from original router.
So, after reading few positive reviews on BBY and mixed reviews on amazon, I decided to give new Nighthawk R8000 a try. I am happy with its slightly improved range than Asus and very much disappointed with its 2.4Ghz performance. I have more than 15 years of network experience and I really don’t bother tech support unless until it is really out of my hand and hardware specific.
Here I am trying to do a fair comparison with two routers I have (Asus & Netgear) + sign means “better” and – signs means “poor”
Wired Connection:

At this point I called customer service and it sounded like they kind of aware of the issue. With minimal trouble shooting and changing the channels to their recommended channels (01, 06, 09 & 11), there was no improvement. So they asked me to degrade from 600Mpbs to 289Mbps and it started working.
So technically now their claim of 3200Mbps became 2911Mbps.
Access Control:
+ RT-66R has fairly good access control capabilities. You can schedule what time of the day each device can access the internet. This feature is important for me as I found it is very useful with kids on top of parental control settings.

- R8000 access control only let you allow or deny connecting a particular device. You cannot decide what time it should be able to connect. – Major drawback for me.
Parental Control:
- RT-66R has poor parental control settings, but with an option to point DNS to OpenDNS we can achieve better parental control settings with their FREE offerings.
+R8000 – also use OpenDNS but with dedicated service assigned to netgear so that you can add bypass account also which can’t be done with OpenDNS free account. This is the only additional benefit I found with this router so far compared to RT-66R.
VPN:
+ RT-66R is also able to use OpenVPN with mobile access with their free App. I was abe to access local network using iOS and Android devices with no issues.

+R8000 – very useful feature if you have your router in bedroom or other place you don’t like lot of flashing lights. Can be accessed via web GUI and with a dedicated hard button at the rear of the router.
USB Storage and Cloud access:
+RT-66R allow you to create a personal cloud with your router with AiCloud application. I am able to enjoy my music and movies over AiCloud on the move.

- R8000 – could not find any documentation about cloud access. Only information I found is about ReadyCloud and it is dedicated to Netgear NAS only. Another major setback for an expensive router.
Web GUI:
Though Netgear has a simple interface and easy to follow GUI, it lack modern look and feeling. I like Asus GUI better.

Customer service:
+ Asus- Never had to call them. No subscription fee, 24/7 free support (as far as you are within product warranty).

- Netgear – Though I received prompt customer service when I called, it was shocking to learn that the phone support is only available for 90 days of purchase, then you have to pay PREMIUM subscription to get phone support.
CONCLUSION:
I have thoroughly tested all important feature that I need. Rest of the features are generic to me and I am not bothered much about them.
I am sure this router with Dual 5.0Ghz network will be very useful for those who have new wireless devices. For me I have a lot of devices that depends on 2.4Ghz frequency such as smoke detectors, thermostat, laptop that connects to NAS for backup etc. and degraded and unreliable 2.4Ghz network make it absolutely worthless considering the amount I spent on this router.
I am seriously thinking to take this back to the store. I don’t see any point in spending almost double amount of money to get a couple of benefits and a lot of drawbacks and pay for a premium to get their phone support if needed to an overpriced product.
I would not recommend this router at its current price and it is unable to meet its original claims and comes with a premium phone support after 90 days.

Please reach out to Netgear Support. I had similar issue in my home (2800 square feet) during the setup and Support asked me to change settings in Router page and now i am getting superior coverage in 2.4 and 5 Ghz for all 17 connected devices.

There are not much Android tablets with premium specs in the market compare to Apple iPad, but Samsung is not ready to give up the fight with the release of high-end Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with significantly updated specs, HDR screen and improved S Pen support. It is equally positioned with iPad Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 screen has a 9.7-inch 1536 x 2048 Super AMOLED display with support of HDR content and it matches the iPad Pro 9.7 in size and resolution. Samsung Tab S3's screen size and resolution have not changed with pixel density of 264 pixels per inch. It has Super AMOLED display, for brighter, richer colors. The main upgrade over the Tab S2 is HDR content support. There is not a huge amount of HDR content yet, but once there is this it will be really helpful with Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Another big change for this model is that there's no 8.0-inch option, Tab S3 only coming in a 9.7-inch size.
Tab S3 has metal and glass build with similar size to Tab S2. Samsung upgraded the design for the Galaxy Tab S3, replacing the soft plastic back of the Tab S2 with a glass one, but retaining the metal frame. The overall appearance like an oversized Samsung Galaxy S7.
While cameras are never the highlight of a tablet, Samsung Tab S3 came with 13MP back side camera and 5MP front facing camera with LED flash. It does include an autofocus and can record 4K video at 30fps.Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 came with 6,000mAh one and it can last up to 12 hours of video playback. I have used more than 10 hours without any issues. It supports fast charging via USB Type-C, so you shouldn't be waiting too long.
Tab S3 runs the latest major version of Android 7.0 overlaid with Samsung's own interface. It came with quad-core Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 only comes in one size - 32GB, but it also has a microSD card slot with support for cards of up to 256GB if you need more storage for apps and games.

It is one of the best android tablet with premium features and equally matching iPad Pro. It worked really well with Samsung Book Cover Keyboard for accurate and comfort typing.

Apps can be downloaded from Google Play or Samsung Store. If you are looking for side loading apps from 3rd party, you can do that as well. It is similar like S2 with upgraded features.

Yes. It is much better than X6 or X8. I am getting 300+ mbps in all over the places in my house.

Can you use with comcast.
Yes. It will work with any ISPs. You just need to connect router with your modem and during setup it will identify the satellite as well.
