Excellent Car Charger with multiple ports!

Smartphones and tablets are very important gadgets in our life to perform banking, emails, navigation, social media etc. It is very crucial to keep the phones charged to get the most value from smartphones especially during road trips. I was looking for multi-port vehicle charger to charge iPhones with fast charging and got Rexing - 120W Vehicle Quick Charger which has 2 USB-C ports and 1 USB Port.
Due to multiple ports, I was able to charge my iPhone and iPad simultaneously with fast charging capability. The build quality of this charger is outstanding and very compact as well. There are 3 ports on this charger. One with 2.4A 18W USB-A port, one PD100W USB-C1, and one PD20W USB-C2 port to provide high speed charging.
This charger has overcharging protection to improve the lifespan of battery. It is compatible with variety of devices. Phones, headphones, laptops, speakers, tablets, and e-books. The Red LED light displays when connected to the USB-C1 100W port for Laptops. Blue light displays when connected to the USB-C1 30W port for iPad and Green light displays when connected to the 6V-9V 23W for phones.
I am using this charger everyday by charging phone, iPad and laptop while driving to office and it was very helpful for our camping trips to charge phones quickly during the stay from the car. It comes with 18-month warranty. It is an excellent gadget for every car to power up all the smart devices.

Excellent 2-in-1 Touch Laptop!

I was looking for cost effective touch screen laptop along with decent configuration and got Dell - Inspiron 14.0" 2-in-1 Touch Laptop. In the box, it came with Notebook, Power Adapter, Power Cord and documentation. It has configuration of AMD Ryzen 5 7530U processer, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD and Windows 11 home preinstalled. The 14” FHD+ touch display is gorgeous, and the border-less visual effect minimizes distractions offering better cinema, document, and web browsing experience. The powerful AMD Ryzen 5 7530U processor handles all jobs without any issues and amazing responsiveness and ultimate performance with 6 cords and 12 threads.
The 8GB Substantial high-bandwidth RAM handles the games very smoothly and photo- and video-editing applications works perfectly. The 512 GB, M.2, PCIe NVMe, SSD provides faster startup times and data access. The audio came from this laptop is excellent and Next level spatial audio with Dolby Atmos delivers exceptional audio experience from speakers. I was able to connect my phone with Inspiron’s Bluetooth speaker capabilities to stream the favorite songs and podcasts louder and clearer.
The built-in camera is very crisp with an FHD resolution. Dual microphones and background noise-reducing AI make video / audio calls very efficient. The 360° hinge transforms the device into four modes: laptop, tent, stand and tablet. The battery life is great and able to work 5+ hours without charging. I was able to use this laptop for games, video calls, office work and it handles everything. It is very lightweight and easy to carry around. I highly recommend this laptop for college kids.

Advanced Smart Scale to track Body Compositions!

I was looking for advanced body composition smart scale and got Withings – Body smart advanced body composition smart wi-fi scale. It came with excellent packing and inside the box it came with 4 x AAA battery, Carpet feet, Body Smart Advanced Body Composition Smart Wi-Fi Scale, Product Guide and Quick Start Guide. After unboxing, I have attached the Carpet feet on the scale. Once it is done, downloaded and installed the Withings health mate app from the app store. After the email registration in the app, the instructions were very easy to follow to configure the profile with height, weight etc.
It integrated with apple health app in iphone and imported all previous information from the health app. It is easy to define the goal and it tracks the information day by day in terms of weight, body composition, heart rate, daily steps, average heart rate. This scale is pretty large and glossy look. The display is LCD and letters are easy to read during measurements.
This scale monitors full body composition: weight, BMI, total body fat, water percentage, muscle and bone mass, Visceral Fat Index estimates the amount of fat stored around organs in abdomen, Basal Metabolic Rate how many calories body burns at rest, and heart rate at every weigh-in. Withings uses position control technology, a unique body position detector to get accurate measurements. It can track up to 8 users independently.
I have invited my family numbers and they were able to track their health information. It is easy to see family members information from the drop down. It is compatible with Apple Health, Google Health, MyFitnessPal, Lose It!, Weight Watchers, train for a race with Runkeeper, Runtastic and MapMyRun. The measurements are very accurate and instant. It is great to see heartbeat, weight, body composition in one place and it shows air quality and weather as well. It is a great smart scale and highly recommend using it to track health related information.

Good entry level laptop for basic use!

I was looking for a basic laptop for my kid schoolwork / projects and got ASUS - Vivobook 14" Laptop. It comes with basic configuration 14" HD Display with the resolution of 1366 x 768, Intel I3-1115G4 processer, Intel UHD Graphics 770, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 128GB SSD and Windows 11 Home in S Mode operating system, Front facing camera and Built-in microphone. Windows 11 in S mode is a version of Windows 11 that's streamlined for security and performance, while providing a familiar Windows experience. To increase security, it allows only apps from the Microsoft Store, and requires Microsoft Edge for safe browsing and any other browsers cannot be installed.
The build quality is not great and made of plastic and it is lightweight. Battery life is reasonable and last around 4 hours for continuous use. I watched few videos in YouTube and screen quality is decent. It has backlit keyboard and easy to use during night without any issues. The provided storage is very less and 128GB is not sufficient to install many applications related to school. I have used external SSD to overcome the storage limitation. The CPU is only 2 cores with 4 threads and can handle basic stuffs like emails, browsing and office tools word, excel, PowerPoint. It is very basic laptop with entry level configuration and recommended for light use only.

I was looking for inexpensive silicon cases for iPhone 14 pro max and got Insignia Silicone Case with MagSafe for iPhone 14 Pro Max – Nude. The case is very durable and soft touch silicone protects the phone from scratches and damages. The built-in magnetic ring provides compatibility with MagSafe chargers and accessories. The raising edges is nice design to protect screen and camera lenses from scratches. The neutral nude color provides sleek and modern look and perfectly match for iPhone 14 pro max. Wireless charging works perfectly with this case and grip is good while holding the phone with this case. I dropped the phone few and times and the improved shock resistance is protecting the phone very effectively.

Outstanding Sound and high quality Speakers!

I was looking to upgrade my home systems with high end speakers and got MartinLogan Motion XT Series 3-Way Floorstanding Speaker with 6.5” Midrange and Triple 8” Bass Drivers model XTF200GB. The speakers were delivered by shipping company in a truck inside the garage on a pallet wooden pallet and we lifted the speakers inside the home. It came with excellent packing. The MartinLogan Motion XT Series speakers have bi-wire and bi-amp terminals, which allow to connect separate amplifiers to the high and low-frequency drivers for improved sound quality. After unboxing, I have connected the speakers with Bi-Wire Speaker Cable with my existing receiver after attaching the rubber feet to the bottom of the speakers. The spikes help to isolate the speakers from the floor, providing better stability and sound quality. I did recalibration of sound in the receiver to get best sound quality from the speakers. I have used my existing center speaker, surround speakers, front and back speakers to pair with MartinLogan speakers.
MartinLogan Motion XT Series 3-Way Floorstanding Speaker has a sleek and modern design that blends well with any decor with a glossy black finish and an elegant, curved shape. The cabinet is made from high-quality materials and features a curved design that reduces diffraction and enhances the overall sound quality. Fantastic Soundbar with Outstanding Sound!

I was looking to upgrade my outdated 10-year-old floor standing sound system for a while and decided to buy premium soundbar with dolby atmos support. I got Devialet - Dione Dolby Atmos Soundbar - Dark Grey. It came with Devialet - Dione soundbar, one High Speed HDMI Cable (supported by Dolby Atmos), one TOSLINK Optical cable, Power Cable, Documentation, Wall Mount Guide and Accessories. Setup is quick and easy. I have connected the power card on the soundbar and downloaded the Devialet app from app store on my iPhone. After completing the registration with email, it automatically recognized the soundbar. I have followed the steps to configure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and completed the setup without any issues. There was latest firmware available and installed the firmware within few minutes. From connectivity standpoint, this sound bar has one HDMI input, Ethernet port and optical port. The build quality is great and this soundbar weighing around 26 lbs. It came with mounting hardware in case if anyone wanted to mount on the wall. I have used my media center to place the soundbar.
There is no remote came with this soundbar and all configurations can be done in phone app including sound adjustment. In the app, it is easy set default settings per source like Movie, Music and Spatial. There is an option for room calibration, and it took less than a minute to complete the room calibration. There is a toggle option for bass reducer mode. Under Advanced settings, there is an option for Dione position with Automatic, Shelf and Wall-mounted options. LED status has Auto, Always on and Always off options. Under Tips section, there are tips for Audio modes, User Interface, Central sphere orientation, Room calibration and Cables & connectivity. Under Information, serial number and firmware version information are available.
I have connected the soundbar with HDMI eARC input as most of the devices like Apple TV, Shied Pro and XBOX X directly connected to TV inputs. I have played few movies from Netflix and Prime with Atmos sound and blown away with sound quality from this soundbar. The sound is crystal clear and filled the room with surround sound. I played music via Bluetooth from Spotify and YouTube Music, and it automatically switch to music mode. The songs from YouTube or Spotify sounded so good from this quality soundbar. With the proprietary SPACE technology, it upscales any stereo-encoded 2.0 signal into 5.1.2. With Devialet's Advanced Dimensional Experience patent (ADE) combines innovative speaker placement with advanced digital filters to deliver superior sound restitution all around. With 17x Devialet custom neodymium drivers, 9x Full-range aluminum drivers 8x Aluminum long-throw subwoofers, the sound quality is outstanding for movies and music. It comes with 2-year manufacturer warranty. Devialet - Dione is one of the best soundbar with Atmos sound.

I always put screen protector for iPhones for my family members and got Insignia Anti-Reflective Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 14 Pro Max (4 Pack). It came with Insignia Anti-Reflective Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 14 Pro Max (4-Pack), 4 wet and dry cloths, 4 dust removal adhesive, 4 polishing cloth, Alignment tool and Quick Setup Guide. The installation is super easy as I was able to install the screen protector in less than 5 minutes for each iPhone. I have cleaned up with wet and dry cloths first and used dust removal adhesive to remove any dust from the screen. The alignment tool helped to install the screen protector perfectly. There is no bubble at all after the installation.
The Anti-reflective technology with a transparency rate of 94% provides extreme clarity in strong outdoor light and eliminates other lighting impacts for a clearer view. Outstanding 1080p HD Webcam!

I have been looking for a better webcam with 1080p resolution for office video calls. Logitech - Brio 500 Webcam is an excellent choice. It came with Brio 500 with an attached USB-C Cable, Mount Clip with a removable mount adapter, and user documentation. Setup is relatively easy and connected with a desktop PC. It is a plug and plays and no driver is needed to work. I have downloaded Logi Tune desktop software to utilize the full potential of this webcam. This webcam supports 1080p HD with a 90-degree field of view. It has a privacy cover which is a really nice feature.
I have tried the video quality without any adjustments and out of the box, the quality was outstanding. I have used this webcam for many Zoom / MS teams calls and everyone was saying the video quality is very good.
It has an integrated microphone and works really well. It is a perfect webcam for high-quality video calls. Auto Light Correction with RightLight 4 technology, video lighting technology automatically adjusts to the lighting based on the environment.
Auto-Framing with RightSight technology centers the video camera and allows it to stand and move during meetings without leaving the frame. Show Mode is another nice feature to present the work on the objects on the desk by tilting the camera up and down in one hand. Dual Noise Reduction Microphones work great and filter out background sound during calls. It is a great webcam with lot of features and works great during office / personal calls.

I bought this router to replace my perfectly working Asus RT-66R model. I wanted to change my router just to get bit more range in my new 2200sqft home. Prior to getting this router I have tried one of the best range extender Ampedwireless AE-20. It’s range was excellent, but connection was very much degraded and struggled to get connected at times though it was set up to clone settings from original router.
So, after reading few positive reviews on BBY and mixed reviews on amazon, I decided to give new Nighthawk R8000 a try. I am happy with its slightly improved range than Asus and very much disappointed with its 2.4Ghz performance. I have more than 15 years of network experience and I really don’t bother tech support unless until it is really out of my hand and hardware specific.
Here I am trying to do a fair comparison with two routers I have (Asus & Netgear) + sign means “better” and – signs means “poor”

At this point I called customer service and it sounded like they kind of aware of the issue. With minimal trouble shooting and changing the channels to their recommended channels (01, 06, 09 & 11), there was no improvement. So they asked me to degrade from 600Mpbs to 289Mbps and it started working.
So technically now their claim of 3200Mbps became 2911Mbps.
Access Control:
+ RT-66R has fairly good access control capabilities. You can schedule what time of the day each device can access the internet. This feature is important for me as I found it is very useful with kids on top of parental control settings.

- R8000 access control only let you allow or deny connecting a particular device. You cannot decide what time it should be able to connect. – Major drawback for me.
Parental Control:
- RT-66R has poor parental control settings, but with an option to point DNS to OpenDNS we can achieve better parental control settings with their FREE offerings.
+R8000 – also use OpenDNS but with dedicated service assigned to netgear so that you can add bypass account also which can’t be done with OpenDNS free account. This is the only additional benefit I found with this router so far compared to RT-66R.
VPN:
+ RT-66R is also able to use OpenVPN with mobile access with their free App. I was abe to access local network using iOS and Android devices with no issues.

LED Control:

+R8000 – very useful feature if you have your router in bedroom or other place you don’t like lot of flashing lights. Can be accessed via web GUI and with a dedicated hard button at the rear of the router.
USB Storage and Cloud access:
+RT-66R allow you to create a personal cloud with your router with AiCloud application. I am able to enjoy my music and movies over AiCloud on the move.

- R8000 – could not find any documentation about cloud access. Only information I found is about ReadyCloud and it is dedicated to Netgear NAS only. Another major setback for an expensive router.
Web GUI:
Though Netgear has a simple interface and easy to follow GUI, it lack modern look and feeling. I like Asus GUI better.

Customer service:
+ Asus- Never had to call them. No subscription fee, 24/7 free support (as far as you are within product warranty).

- Netgear – Though I received prompt customer service when I called, it was shocking to learn that the phone support is only available for 90 days of purchase, then you have to pay PREMIUM subscription to get phone support.
CONCLUSION:
I have thoroughly tested all important feature that I need. Rest of the features are generic to me and I am not bothered much about them.
I am sure this router with Dual 5.0Ghz network will be very useful for those who have new wireless devices. For me I have a lot of devices that depends on 2.4Ghz frequency such as smoke detectors, thermostat, laptop that connects to NAS for backup etc. and degraded and unreliable 2.4Ghz network make it absolutely worthless considering the amount I spent on this router.
I am seriously thinking to take this back to the store. I don’t see any point in spending almost double amount of money to get a couple of benefits and a lot of drawbacks and pay for a premium to get their phone support if needed to an overpriced product.
I would not recommend this router at its current price and it is unable to meet its original claims and comes with a premium phone support after 90 days.

Please reach out to Netgear Support. I had similar issue in my home (2800 square feet) during the setup and Support asked me to change settings in Router page and now i am getting superior coverage in 2.4 and 5 Ghz for all 17 connected devices.

There are not much Android tablets with premium specs in the market compare to Apple iPad, but Samsung is not ready to give up the fight with the release of high-end Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with significantly updated specs, HDR screen and improved S Pen support. It is equally positioned with iPad Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 screen has a 9.7-inch 1536 x 2048 Super AMOLED display with support of HDR content and it matches the iPad Pro 9.7 in size and resolution. Samsung Tab S3's screen size and resolution have not changed with pixel density of 264 pixels per inch. It has Super AMOLED display, for brighter, richer colors. The main upgrade over the Tab S2 is HDR content support. There is not a huge amount of HDR content yet, but once there is this it will be really helpful with Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Another big change for this model is that there's no 8.0-inch option, Tab S3 only coming in a 9.7-inch size.
Tab S3 has metal and glass build with similar size to Tab S2. Samsung upgraded the design for the Galaxy Tab S3, replacing the soft plastic back of the Tab S2 with a glass one, but retaining the metal frame. The overall appearance like an oversized Samsung Galaxy S7.
While cameras are never the highlight of a tablet, Samsung Tab S3 came with 13MP back side camera and 5MP front facing camera with LED flash. It does include an autofocus and can record 4K video at 30fps.Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 came with 6,000mAh one and it can last up to 12 hours of video playback. I have used more than 10 hours without any issues. It supports fast charging via USB Type-C, so you shouldn't be waiting too long.
Tab S3 runs the latest major version of Android 7.0 overlaid with Samsung's own interface. It came with quad-core Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 only comes in one size - 32GB, but it also has a microSD card slot with support for cards of up to 256GB if you need more storage for apps and games.

It is one of the best android tablet with premium features and equally matching iPad Pro. It worked really well with Samsung Book Cover Keyboard for accurate and comfort typing.

Apps can be downloaded from Google Play or Samsung Store. If you are looking for side loading apps from 3rd party, you can do that as well. It is similar like S2 with upgraded features.

I currently have the Netgear NightHawk router. Will this be better than that, and should I get rid of that one?
Yes. It is much better than X6 or X8. I am getting 300+ mbps in all over the places in my house.

Can you use with comcast.
Yes. It will work with any ISPs. You just need to connect router with your modem and during setup it will identify the satellite as well.
