Budget friendly and Quality Blender!

We were looking to buy a cost-effective blender from Oster due to the quality products they make and were pleased with the results of Oster products. We got Oster Pulverizing Power Blender with High-Speed Motor. This blender came with a premium metallic finish with a powerful 800-watt motor. It takes few seconds to crush ice cubes.
The 6-cup Boroclass jar has thermal shock and shatter-resistant features. It is dishwasher safe and very easy to clean up after use. This blender is built with Crush Pro 4 stainless steel blade inside and with 8 speeds including stir, mix, chop, blend, liquify, puree, and pulse to easily pulverize and chop a wide range of ingredients. The 2-ounce filer cap has built-in markings and it is very convenient for measuring and pouring ingredients.
The modern finish perfectly complements our kitchen stainless steel appliances. The blender is very quiet during operation. It is rare to see a blender product with a 3-year manufacturer warranty. We have been using this blender very frequently. It is definitely a great addition to our kitchen. It is another quality product from Oster.

Eliminate tough dirt and grime with the cleaning power of steam. The BDXSMV190 controls easily switch between functions so you can vacuum and steam at the same time or separately. A large capacity dustbin and powerful steam boiler enable effective one step cleaning. Leave your home sparkling clean!

Good Steam Mop / Vacuum Combo!

I have been looking for a Vacuum and Steam mop combo and got Black+Decker - Corded Steam Mop and Vacuum (Model: BDXSMV190G). It came with Steam Mop+Vacuum, Mop Pad, and Pad Tray. It is easy to assemble the Mop pad and attach the handle with the provided screw. I filled the water tank with water and tried the Max steam option. It took a minute to start the steam. I tried on the hardwood floor and tile areas. It did a good job on the hardwood floor, and it was cleaner than ever. However, watermarks were visible on the tile floor. The steam mop function worked perfectly except for the corner areas due to the odd design of the floor nozzle. It could have been better with a square design and swivel option.
I tried vacuum mode and it did not pick up all stuff from the floor and another major issue is power cable length. It is less than 10 feet and not able to move around for big rooms. I have connected the power cable to different outlets to cover the big rooms and every time I need to wait for few mins to use the steam mob function. I was spending more to do vacuum and steam mop functions using this product compared to using them with two different products. With the max steam option, I was refilling water for every room and connecting the power cable to different outlets very often due to limited cable length. The carpet attachment is nothing but plastic and I have no idea how it works on carpets. It is a great concept of having Steam mop and Vacuum as a combo. However, it did not fulfill my needs.

Compact mini projector with limited features

Miroir’s M190 Mini Pro is a very compact and portable mini projector that offers up to 80” image with two hours of battery life. In the box, it came with a projector, HDMI cable, AC adapter with multiple plugs for the charger. Setup is relatively easy. I have connected the projector with a power adapter and connected the HDMI cable to the laptop/projector. It is plug and play type and no special configuration or adjustments are needed. I have connected Galaxy S7+ tab with USB C to USB C cable to do screen mirroring and it worked without any issues.
The projector is very compact in size and lightweight which can be carried easily in a backpack. It has various ports like Charging, HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, and audio ports on one side and it would have been better designed if the ports were on the backside of the projector. The height can be adjusted with the adjustable stand at the bottom and focus can be adjusted with the wheel next to the lens. The battery life is reasonably good to allow us to watch one movie without charging during a trip.
This projector offers 200 lumens of brightness, and it is recommended for dark rooms. Due to limited brightness, it is not recommended to use during daytime or with bright light situations. The resolution is only 480p and image quality is reasonably good even though with low resolution. It can project up to 80”. The sound quality is not great as it offers only a 3-watt built-in speaker. However, I was to use my external speaker by connecting with a 3.5mm audio cable with the projector.
This projector is not a replacement for professional projectors or TVs. It is easy to carry during trips to watch programs slightly bigger screen size during hotel stays or cabins. I would suggest getting the model with 1080p resolution and higher lumens of brightness as this model has only 480p resolution and 200 lumens.

I have been looking for portable and lightweight video/camera light for my mirrorless camera and got Digipower - RGB On-Camera - Portable Video Light with Built-in 4000mAh Power bank, 21 Lighting Effects, and 3200K-5600K - LCD Screen (Model DP-VLRGB). It came with Digipower RGB Multi-Mode LED Video Light, Cold Shoe Adapter for Cameras, and USB Cable. Build quality is excellent and very lightweight. It came with a full charge and most of the buttons on the right side. It has a digital display to show battery level, brightness, and remaining time. There are 3 modes CCT, HSI, and Effect can be controlled with the mode button and Select / Brightness buttons allow to adjust the level of color modes and brightness. At the bottom of the device, there are two ports one with USB 5V/2A out and another one with Type-C 5V/2A in.
I have installed the cold shoe adapter for cameras to the Digipower and put it on my camera. It fitted perfectly on the camera. It can be installed horizontally or vertically as there are two 1/4” tripod mounts on each side. The 24-brightness feature is great, and I can adjust the brightness depending upon the photography needs. It has 135 LEDs and will light up the entire room. I was able to use it for photography with 5000K daylight brightness close to 1 hour. The color modes will take photography to the next levels with creative lighting. The photos came out way better with less ISO with the combination of Digipower and highly recommend this portable video light.

I have been looking for sports earbuds during workouts and Jaybird’s Vista 2 True Wireless Sport Headphones is an excellent option. It came with Earbuds, 3 ear gels, Wireless Charging Case, and a Charging Cable. It is very compact and comfortable to wear for extended periods during workouts. Setup is relatively easy and paired with iPhone via Bluetooth. I have downloaded the Jaybird app from the App store and the Jaybird app has a lot of options to customize the earbuds. It came with a battery/carry case which will allow 16 hours of recharging along with 8 hours of earbuds battery life. With 5 mins of quick charge offers one hour of playtime. The carry case is very attractive and small and has a strong magnet to hold the earbuds. It does support wireless charging which is convenient to charge using a wireless charging mat.
There are 3 sizes of interchangeable ear gels for the most secure and comfortable fit for any ear size. The SurroundSense technology working very well based on surroundings. The Wind-guarded mics monitor ambient noise and provide excellent sound quality even in noisy environments. It is certified with Earthproof durability for IP68 waterproof, sweatproof, and dustproof, with MIL-STD 810G freeze, shock, and impact resistance. I have attended many calls ad it provides crystal-clear calls and voice assistant commands due to 4 beamforming microphones and WindDefense fabric technology. The double-tap control is convenient to easily switch between Active Noise Cancellation and SurroundSense.
I am using Jaybird vista 2 for workouts, office calls, listening to music and it performed well with excellent sound quality. I highly recommend Jaybird vista 2 for anyone looking for earbuds to provide excellent fit and exceptional sound quality.

This is one of the best gaming laptops in the market with outstanding specifications.

Outstanding Bluetooth Speaker! Great Sound!

I am a big fan of SONY Bluetooth speakers and looking for one with a handle for the outdoors and camping. I got a SONY SRS-XG500 speaker as it came with a beautiful handle and excellent specifications. It came with the speaker, power cord, and warranty information. Setup is easy by downloading the Music Center app from the app store on iPhone and connected the speaker via Bluetooth. Also, I have downloaded the Fiestable app, which will control the speaker's lights and allow to play a party playlist. Build quality is outstanding and has buttons for power, Bluetooth, play, pause, volume, and mega bass. However, personal EQ settings can be done via the music center app.
It is lightweight and portable. Battery life is great and provides up to 30 hours of playtime. With the quick charge feature, 3 hours of playtime can be achieved with 10 mins of charge. I was using this speaker in camping and large outdoor parties. It is an IP66 water-resistant and dustproof design, the speaker keeps on playing when exposed to water, sand, and dust. The water-repellent mesh fabric makes it easy to clean and dry the outside of the speaker. Smartphones can be plugged into the rear USB ports to play music over a wired connection which is really nice feature. Also, it will charge the phone at the same time. Music can be played in another way by inserting a memory stick or flash drive which is another great feature to play songs where there is no cell phone signal.
XG500 can be used as a guitar amp by plug in a guitar via the mic/guitar input in the rear port. The LED ring lighting adds a touch of fun to the music. Sony Music Center app allows controlling the party from the dancefloor, selecting favorite playlists, cueing the next song, changing lighting patterns, and sound modes.
I was blown away by the sound quality of this speaker. The X-Balanced Speaker Unit achieves high sound quality and powerful sound pressure for a richer, deeper, more rewarding listening experience. This speaker is waterproof and dustproof. It is the perfect time to use it in the swimming pool during summertime in Arizona. I was playing a song with full sound and fill the entire living room with great sound quality. The ability to connect more than 100 speakers is a great feature and it will help to place speakers in each room.
SONY always makes better products in TVs, Cameras and they have entered in audio space with quality products like SRS XG500 Series Bluetooth speakers.
Well done SONY and it is another outstanding speaker!

I have purchased many products from Anker like power conference speakers and battery packs due to the quality products they make and excellent customer support. I have been looking for a cost-effective and quality outdoor speaker with a handle for outdoors and camping and got Anker - Soundcore Select Pro Bluetooth Speaker.
It came with a speaker and USB C charging cable. Setup is pretty straightforward similar to the setup for any Bluetooth speaker. I already had soundcore app in my iPhone and paired the speaker via Bluetooth. There are many configuration changes that can be done via the app for light effects, equalizer with presets, extra bass, customization sliders, settings, firmware update, battery level, volume level adjustment.
The build quality is great which is similar to other products from Anker and it is very lightweight to carry. The sound quality is excellent, and it covers the entire party even in large outdoors. With the touch of a button, bass can be boosted. LEDs are so beautiful and adjusting based on music. With PartyCast feature, it is possible to link 100+ speakers to take outdoor parties to next level. Battery life is great and lasts up to 16 hours of continuous playtime in a single charge. It is an IPX-7 rated speaker with a fully waterproof casing that allows it to float on water and comes with 18 months manufacturer warranty. I am impressed with the overall build, sound quality, long battery life and highly recommend it to everyone looking for a budget-friendly, quality outdoor speaker.

Excellent Ultra Light Noise Cancelling Headset!

I have been looking for a Bluetooth headset to attend office conference calls from my phone and got a BlueParrott M300-XT Bluetooth headset. It came with a Headset, USB-C Cable, 3 sets of ear gels, a Quickstart guide, and a warning/warranty sheet. Setup is easy by downloading the BlueParrott iOS app to configure the headset via Bluetooth. I have updated the latest firmware via the app and the iOS app has step-by-step instructions to configure the headset.
The build quality is great and the ultra-light design allows me to wear this headset for a long period of time. It has 2 microphones, and the headset design blocks 80% of background noise. It supports up to 2 Bluetooth devices at a time. Battery life is good and offers up to 14 hours of talk time and can be charged with a USB C cable.
The mic and sound quality are good during the calls and comfortable to wear as well. I was able to take the calls away from 250ft from the phone without any issues. The headset equipped with a customizable button that can be programmed for mute, speed dial, or push-to-talk in the BlueParrott app. It came with 3 different size EarGels for a comfortable fit and this headset can be used either right or left ear.
It is IP54 rated to protect against dust and moisture. It comes with one year warranty. I am using this headset very often now due to superior audio quality and highly recommend this one for conference calls taken by mobile phone.

Perfect 4K monitor for multitasking and work!

I was looking for a quality 4K monitor for remote work and got Samsung A700 32” 4K monitor. Setup is relatively easy. It comes with a monitor, stand, power cord, and HDMI cable. I have followed the instructions to assemble the stand. I have connected the windows laptop to the provided HDMI and turned on the display. The quality is much better than my existing 24” FHD monitor. With HDR10 technology, colors will look vivid and TUV-certified eye comfort reduced eye fatigue and allow me to work continuously without any tiredness of eyes.
With 4x pixels of Full HD, this monitor provides every detail with enhanced depth, and 32” inch is the perfect size for arranging multiple windows of email, chat apps, and other applications at the same screen. The borderless design looks great, and it reminds me of the design of QLED TVs from Samsung. The menu buttons are under the monitor and easy to use. However, there is no adjustment that can be done on the stand and no built-in speakers on this monitor.
This monitor has a very basic configuration. It is 4K with 3840 x 2160 resolution with a 60hz refresh rate. It has a contrast ratio of 2500:1 with a response time of 5 milliseconds and an aspect ratio of 16:9. With 300 candela per square meter brightness and HDR 10, this monitor provides great clarity and detail. I am using this monitor for office work and not used for gaming as it requires faster response time, better contrast ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. This monitor is good, and it is not with a better configuration. There are basic features missing like stand adjustment, built-in speakers, and USB C connection. However, this is the perfect monitor for office work, photos/videos editing.

I bought this router to replace my perfectly working Asus RT-66R model. I wanted to change my router just to get bit more range in my new 2200sqft home. Prior to getting this router I have tried one of the best range extender Ampedwireless AE-20. It’s range was excellent, but connection was very much degraded and struggled to get connected at times though it was set up to clone settings from original router.
So, after reading few positive reviews on BBY and mixed reviews on amazon, I decided to give new Nighthawk R8000 a try. I am happy with its slightly improved range than Asus and very much disappointed with its 2.4Ghz performance. I have more than 15 years of network experience and I really don’t bother tech support unless until it is really out of my hand and hardware specific.
Here I am trying to do a fair comparison with two routers I have (Asus & Netgear) + sign means “better” and – signs means “poor”
Wired Connection:

At this point I called customer service and it sounded like they kind of aware of the issue. With minimal trouble shooting and changing the channels to their recommended channels (01, 06, 09 & 11), there was no improvement. So they asked me to degrade from 600Mpbs to 289Mbps and it started working.
So technically now their claim of 3200Mbps became 2911Mbps.
Access Control:
+ RT-66R has fairly good access control capabilities. You can schedule what time of the day each device can access the internet. This feature is important for me as I found it is very useful with kids on top of parental control settings.

- R8000 access control only let you allow or deny connecting a particular device. You cannot decide what time it should be able to connect. – Major drawback for me.
Parental Control:
- RT-66R has poor parental control settings, but with an option to point DNS to OpenDNS we can achieve better parental control settings with their FREE offerings.
+R8000 – also use OpenDNS but with dedicated service assigned to netgear so that you can add bypass account also which can’t be done with OpenDNS free account. This is the only additional benefit I found with this router so far compared to RT-66R.
VPN:
+ RT-66R is also able to use OpenVPN with mobile access with their free App. I was abe to access local network using iOS and Android devices with no issues.

+R8000 – very useful feature if you have your router in bedroom or other place you don’t like lot of flashing lights. Can be accessed via web GUI and with a dedicated hard button at the rear of the router.
USB Storage and Cloud access:
+RT-66R allow you to create a personal cloud with your router with AiCloud application. I am able to enjoy my music and movies over AiCloud on the move.

- R8000 – could not find any documentation about cloud access. Only information I found is about ReadyCloud and it is dedicated to Netgear NAS only. Another major setback for an expensive router.
Web GUI:
Though Netgear has a simple interface and easy to follow GUI, it lack modern look and feeling. I like Asus GUI better.

Customer service:
+ Asus- Never had to call them. No subscription fee, 24/7 free support (as far as you are within product warranty).

- Netgear – Though I received prompt customer service when I called, it was shocking to learn that the phone support is only available for 90 days of purchase, then you have to pay PREMIUM subscription to get phone support.
CONCLUSION:
I have thoroughly tested all important feature that I need. Rest of the features are generic to me and I am not bothered much about them.
I am sure this router with Dual 5.0Ghz network will be very useful for those who have new wireless devices. For me I have a lot of devices that depends on 2.4Ghz frequency such as smoke detectors, thermostat, laptop that connects to NAS for backup etc. and degraded and unreliable 2.4Ghz network make it absolutely worthless considering the amount I spent on this router.
I am seriously thinking to take this back to the store. I don’t see any point in spending almost double amount of money to get a couple of benefits and a lot of drawbacks and pay for a premium to get their phone support if needed to an overpriced product.
I would not recommend this router at its current price and it is unable to meet its original claims and comes with a premium phone support after 90 days.

Please reach out to Netgear Support. I had similar issue in my home (2800 square feet) during the setup and Support asked me to change settings in Router page and now i am getting superior coverage in 2.4 and 5 Ghz for all 17 connected devices.

There are not much Android tablets with premium specs in the market compare to Apple iPad, but Samsung is not ready to give up the fight with the release of high-end Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with significantly updated specs, HDR screen and improved S Pen support. It is equally positioned with iPad Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 screen has a 9.7-inch 1536 x 2048 Super AMOLED display with support of HDR content and it matches the iPad Pro 9.7 in size and resolution. Samsung Tab S3's screen size and resolution have not changed with pixel density of 264 pixels per inch. It has Super AMOLED display, for brighter, richer colors. The main upgrade over the Tab S2 is HDR content support. There is not a huge amount of HDR content yet, but once there is this it will be really helpful with Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Another big change for this model is that there's no 8.0-inch option, Tab S3 only coming in a 9.7-inch size.
Tab S3 has metal and glass build with similar size to Tab S2. Samsung upgraded the design for the Galaxy Tab S3, replacing the soft plastic back of the Tab S2 with a glass one, but retaining the metal frame. The overall appearance like an oversized Samsung Galaxy S7.
While cameras are never the highlight of a tablet, Samsung Tab S3 came with 13MP back side camera and 5MP front facing camera with LED flash. It does include an autofocus and can record 4K video at 30fps.Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 came with 6,000mAh one and it can last up to 12 hours of video playback. I have used more than 10 hours without any issues. It supports fast charging via USB Type-C, so you shouldn't be waiting too long.
Tab S3 runs the latest major version of Android 7.0 overlaid with Samsung's own interface. It came with quad-core Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 only comes in one size - 32GB, but it also has a microSD card slot with support for cards of up to 256GB if you need more storage for apps and games.
Beyond the core specifications, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is packed full of features, including support for Samsung's S Pen stylus. It is one of the best android tablet with premium features and equally matching iPad Pro. It worked really well with Samsung Book Cover Keyboard for accurate and comfort typing.

Apps can be downloaded from Google Play or Samsung Store. If you are looking for side loading apps from 3rd party, you can do that as well. It is similar like S2 with upgraded features.

I currently have the Netgear NightHawk router. Will this be better than that, and should I get rid of that one?
Yes. It is much better than X6 or X8. I am getting 300+ mbps in all over the places in my house.

Can you use with comcast.
Yes. It will work with any ISPs. You just need to connect router with your modem and during setup it will identify the satellite as well.
