The set contains all seven episodes of Frozen Planet, the documentary devoted to showcasing both the Arctic and the Antarctic. State-of-the-art camera capture these naturally splendid but harsh locations as they undergo massive changes that very well may impact the climate for the rest of the planet. In addition to the environmental dangers for the globe, the series offers footage of animals as they adjust to these changes conditions, as well as the natural shifts that occur as the seasons change in these extreme climates. Alister Fothergill, the man who oversaw both Planet Earth and The Blue Planet: Seas of Life, served as executive producer for this project as well.

awesome viewing for family

I've been watching episodes with my son during our mom & monkey time. He's almost 13yo and caught part of the show on tv at his dad's house. Having heard of others who caught it on tv, I bought this when Best Buy had it on sale. We have enjoyed watching several episodes so far. My heart aches for what the mommy animals go thru as their cycle of life, but it's very educational. Kudos to the BBC for putting this together. I can't wait to get more of their specials on DVD (I still haven't watched all of our Planet Earth series on DVD)
What's great about it: everything
What's not so great: wish there was digital copy included
I would recommend this to a friend!

The fourth season of The Big Bang Theory finds Leonard (Johnny Galecki) falling for Raj's sister Priya following his break-up with Penny (Kaley Cuoco). Meanwhile, Sheldon (Simon Helberg) finds romance with a neurologist who quickly establishes herself as Penny's new best friend. As Howard and Bernadette's relationship blossoms, Bernadette finds herself plagued by Bollywood daydreams starring Raj (Kunal Nayyar).

Must for geeky humor fix

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter since she has the previous 3 seasons on DVD. She hasn't finished watching it yet, but has enjoyed it thus far. Supposedly the plot during season 4 isn't as good as the previous seasons, but it's definitely worth an addition to your collection if you already have previous seasons, can get it on a good sale (we purchased during Black Friday so major $ off) and need to get your geeky humor fix on marathon style.

Digital Copy expiration = 09/30/2012

Heroine was pretty lame, but then again, they didn't ask her to be much other than eye candy. Otherwise, I thought they did a much better job telling the story this time than they did with #2.
As for this particular item itself, I'm really getting upset w/distribution companies who make sure to put TM after Blu-Ray and R after Digital Copy on the front of the cases yet do nothing to denote there's a caveat to the digital copy. Then they put in tinytinytiny print on the back of the box that there's an expiration date for the digital copy installation. I have really good eyesight & I have a very hard time reading this info. For Transformers #3 the gotcha is that its code may not be valid after 09/30/2012.
I wish stores (*cough*Amazon*cough*Best Buy*cough*) selling the products would also make a point of sharing expiration dates in their descriptions &/or covering up the DIGITAL COPY portion of the item once the expiration date has passed as IMHO it's misleading advertising.
What's great about it: special effects
What's not so great: digital copy expiration in tiny print

Beware of expiration dates!!

Loved this movie. It's a rare sequel that's somehow better than its originator. Word of warning if you purchase this copy, however, tinytinytiny print on the back says digital copy code may not be valid after 12/13/2012. Also the Kung Fu Panda World 2 free online game memberships (lower right corner of front of the box) must be redeemed by and expire on 04/30/2012.
Just gotta love how they can make sure to put TM and R next to Blu-Ray and Digital Copy, yet don't flag Digital Copy so a person knows to pull out a magnifying glass for fine print on DC expiring at some point.
What's great about it: story
What's not so great: no warning of expiration date for digital copy

$20 MSRP for a beanie?
on April 23, 2011

Given Best Buy's $19.95 MSRP, which is the typical price for a 14-16" plush, this SEEMED like a great deal. Unfortunately this plush appears to have been shot w/Gru's shrink ray down to the size of a 5" beanie doll, with no chance of it increasing back to its original size. As such, this unicorn is not "so fluffy I could die!" :(
What's great about it: n/a
What's not so great: it's tiny 5" size; $19.95 MSRP is GREATLY exaggerated

Got these in an effort to best maximize the space I have for DVD storage. These cases are half the width of your standard DVD cases. There is a film cover on the front that allows you to trim some of the movie cover-insert from each edge and make a "new" cover for your DVD in the new case. You might not be able to read the entire spine clearly even with very careful trimming due to manufacturer/publishing making the spine titles mostly for wider (standard) spines.
Really wish they sold DVDs already in slim cases to save me from wasting the standard cases, having to spend extra money to get the slim cases to take up less space &/or so the cover/insert spines were automatically formatted to best fit on the slim cases. It's the overflowing spine titles personally that I find most annoying.
What's great about it: single DVDs take up 1/2 the space now
What's not so great: easy to crack/cut case
I would recommend this to a friend!

Create a reliable internet connection throughout your home with this Google Wi-Fi system. The convenient package of three connectivity points effortlessly covers even large homes up to 4,500 square feet. This Google Wi-Fi system eliminates uneven bandwidth usage among multiple devices, including cellphones and tablets, for an unimpeded connection that doesn't lag behind.

I have att diverse internet. Will this replace them. What is monthly charge for Google wifi

There isn't a monthly charge for Google, but it isn't an Internet Service Provider. You would use it to extend your wifi access in the house off your cable modem, which would be connected to your Internet Service Provider. You don't have to have a particular ISP for this to work, but you do have to have one if you want to be able to connect to the Internet.

I still need a paid hard wired phone line and a modem to use this device. ?? if so, where would it have any benefit for a small 1500 foot home. ??

You don't need a phone line for this device. You connect this to your cable modem to give you wireless access in your house. Then the other hubs wirelessly connect to them main hub to extend your wifi coverage in the house.

Will these work on a regular Verizon broadband? They don't offer the fios out where I liv yet

It acts like a router so you would still need to have a cable modem in your house to connect it to your Internet Service Provider.

Does this replace my comcast router? How does the cord from TV connect to it? Also will Nest and Wemo connect with it?

it replaces your router. the only connections on it are for network cables. otherwise you'd have to connect your TV to it via wireless lan.

Do these have a clear sleeve for adding a title sheet?

These did have a clear "sleeve" going across the front & back. You would open it flat to slide an insert between the case & the sleeve. We have transitioned 90% of our movies from regular cases to these slim cases and saved a ton of shelf space. You will need to trim the edge(s) of the insert if you're transferring it from a regular case to these slim cases.
