This HDMI cable features up to 10.2 Gbps bandwidth and is compatible with most HDMI sources, including Blu-ray Disc players for stunning high-definition images. The 6' cable also supports HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC) and Audio Return Channel (ARC) for wide-ranging use.

Good low cost cable

These days, one HDMI cable isn't that different from another. The only time you can see it matter is when you are going a long distance, over 150 feet. For a simple 6' cable like this, one is just as good as another. Dynex is a good budget brand

Brace yourself for a new set of tricks, tracks and ways to race. The included Wii Wheel transforms your Wii Remote into a steering wheel that feels great in your hands, while the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller supply a classic control style for veterans of this racing series. Either way, you'll be able to perform impressive speed-boosting tricks, such as jumps, flips and wheelies. You can zip through brand-new tracks and arenas, and also tour classic courses from Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Kart DS. There are even options for trying all-new motorbikes that have their own special tricks and techniques. The action gets fast, furious and funny when you race in Mario Kart Wii.

Excellent game

I really enjoyed playing this game. Choosing between the different characters and cars makes the game very personal.
I also enjoyed playing the multi-player. I wish as you play though it would open more tracks and cars while in multi-player. But still fun
What's great about it: classic game play
What's not so great: only single player advances opens more items
I would recommend this to a friend!

HP desktops

just returned a HPE-360z because it wouldn't even boot - tried everything. Smaller a1520e HP just died - Geeks said motherboard kaputed.
Do I go with another HP (biggest selection) or try another brand? If another brand, can you please recommend? I dont even know where to start!! This is to be my last one.
I use it for all the normal stuff, want wireless built-in, high speed, at least quad-core, at least 8 RAM; 1 TB harddrive, HDMI, dvd/rw/lightscribe/dual record (both sides); tv tuner (unless its cheaper to install one myself); no speakers; great dedicated graphics.
Ok, guess that's it. Can anyone please help? I'm at wits end and need a computer like yesterday!!! Thanks
I bought this one:http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+Pavilion+Elite+Desktop+/+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i7+Processor+/+8GB+Memory+/+1TB+Hard+Drive/9919073.p?skuId=9919073&id=1218195230378

SKU# 9919073

I wouldn't be scared of HP just cause you had one DOA. These are machines and there can be lemons.

The machine listed above is the one I got and it is more machine than I will need for a while. No TV card, but I've included some below. I haven't tried any of these, but one is just as good as the next. The thing to consider is the software it comes with. The computer below may have a tuner in it, not sure it just displayed in the search results.

Good luck and happy computing

FULL SIZE PCI slot

I bought some PCI card for our experiment.
I received email from Vender following as "You will need a desk top with a “FULL SIZE PCI slot”. Dell or HP might have them. ".
My PCI card size is around 4.2*12.3 inches.
Do you have a desk top with a “FULL SIZE PCI slot”?
What kind of desktop PC do I buy?
Can I know brand and model for it?
Thanks.
when considering a "full sized" slot, all you need to look for is a standard sized tower.

"low profile" is the opposite and these are used in slim towers

can a dell printer be used with other computers or does it have to be a dell?

If I have a Dell printer, can it be used with any other computers or does it have to be with Dell?
The brand of the printer does not limit the computer to use with it. The brand of printer mainly determines what ink you will need to buy.

Processor and speed for video editing

I saw a computer with an i5 processor and a 3.2GHz processing speed. would this be a good computer for running programs like Final Cut Pro and other video editing software?
Yes that is a fine processor. You must also consider the amount of RAM the system has.

Start at at lease 4GB.

Is it easier & cheaper to buy a new tower or get the old one upfraded?

in the long run getting a new computer will be your best option. the cotinued cost of upgrading will be higher than just buying a new one. If you wanted just little things, more RAM better graphics, upgrading would be fine. If you are going from XP to Vista/7 then a new computer is almost a must.

Regarding Macs, older computers are not supported in the newest operating system release

which PC brand (not mac) would you recommend for graphic design?

which PC brand (not mac) would you recommend to run graphic design programs such as adobe phtoshop, adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw?
Each computer brand is really no different than the next. Each have their pluses and minuses. The top brands, in my opinion, are HP, Dell, and Sony.

What you should look for in a PC is the processor, RAM, and Graphics card.
