The Cure performs 3 of their best albums live. The Picture quality is clear and crisp. The sound is amazing. Presented in as aspect ratio of 1.78:1, encoded with MPEG-4 AVC, The concert has a nice feel to it. No quick camera cuts IE: MTV style. A truly amazing show captured live.

This is not bad for the price concidering you get 4 blu-ray disc's. But all except one only last around 50 minutes. There are some great shots of places of interest and the pucture quality is good for HD. The audio track is only in 2.0 and there is not much information on the places you are seeing. There are no extras or bonus features. But if you want to put this disc in during a party and show off your HD TV it would be like having a screen saver on your PC. $14.99 for the set of 4 disc's is not bad. They were selling for $9.99 each which at that price I would pass.
What's great about it: Some great shots of places around the USA.
What's not so great: No 5.1 or DTS audio track. Content not for everyone.

Finally on Blu-ray. Picture and sound is amazing. This is a 2 disc set that includes both the 1973 version of the film and the 2000 directors cut. There are loads of extras for hours of enjoyment. Many out takes. The interviews with the cast and crew is very informative, Jane Fonda was one of several actresses that the studio was thinking of for the part of Chris MacNeil, Regans mother. Jane was not interested. And Jack Nicholson and Paul Newman both wanted to play the role of Father Damien Karras . But the director did not want a "big" name star in the role This is a must have film for your collection.

My wife and I seen this on the stage in London when we were there on our honeymoon. We really enjoyed the muisc. Back in Chicago we seen it again a year later. Now finaly they made a film version and it made it to Blu-ray. Picture and sound is awesome. The film stays pretty close to the stage version. There is a new song written and is included in the end credits. While watching the extras you can view a deleted scene with another new song sung by the Phantom but was removed from the final film. A good idea. This film is a must have if your into musicals.

This is the first bluray disc I bought. I purchased a bluray player so I picked up a disc to try it out. I was not a Pink fan until I watched this concert. She is a great performer. The music is great. The entire concert was amazing. I just wish they would include the entire shows on these concert discs. Like McCartney's "Good Evening New York City". There are 2 songs on the bonus section of the disc. It makes you wonder why they don't just include it in the main program. But it is still a great concert. The picture and sound is terrific.
What's great about it: Great picture and sound.
What's not so great: Should have included the entire show.

Unlike some of the other reviews here done before the release of the CD/DVD this review is on the CD/DVD.
This DVD is an improvement over McCartney's previous live videos like "Back in the US" and "The Space Within Us". "Good Evening New York City" is Paul McCartney's complete concert at Citi Field. No back stage or interview footage between songs ruining the flow of the concert. Not many audience shots which is a plus as well. The sound and picture quality is amazing. No jumpy MTV style camera shots. Finally McCartney has released a concert video that is a complete concert from beginning to end.
What's great about it: Complete Concert. Sound Quality

Does these discs have the plastic film to hold the disc art?
