Monumental!
on February 15, 2010

This ultimate cut runs nearly 3 1/2 hours and lifts a fine film into greatness, in my opinion. The addition of the allegorical BLACK FREIGHTER material provides even greater fimension to this story of flawed (and some flat-out nasty) super-heroes. Knock-out performances by Jackie Earle Hailey and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Make no mistake...this ain't no light-hearted SPIDER-MAN or IRON MAN; this is not for the kiddies. Great extras as well, included the motion comic (which alone is nearly 6 hrs long), and more In addition, the Blu-Ray PQ is slightly better than the previous Director's Cut. A must for any serious cinephile..
What's great about it: Nearly 3 1/2 hour version, better picture quality
What's not so great: A few performances, price

a female rock band wirth chops!

I remember this band from the 80s. A nice surprise to have them back. A lot of versatility here, from punk to pop...even a blues track! Not every song works, but at least half of them do, and that's more than I hear from most bands.

Second remake
on December 13, 2009

Not as good as the original, but better than the first remake. Unfortunately, Tony Scott still has the cameras doing gymnastics...spinnning, sped-up, etc. Butboth of the leads are fine here (although you've seen Travolta do this before in BROKEN ARROW). And some of the action scenes (particularly the race to deliver the money) feel as if they are simply shoe-horned in there just to meet the demands of a summer film. The HD PQ is pretty good, but the disc doesn't have a lot of extras (No deleted scenes????)
Not particularly memorable, but certainly entertaining.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wow!! A new twist on the Bermuda Triangle!!
By Antman2057 from NJ
It's hard to talk about without giving it away,it's also tough to classify.Evements of a thriller, horror, suppense, and sci fi make a brilliant movie sure to keep you on the edge of your seat, guessing and talking after the movie is over.Watch it with some friends you'll have a great time brainstorming on it.There is one short feature with some interviews but the movie more than makes up for it.The HD picture is top notch. If they rerelease it with some deleted scenes, commantary or longer features I'm sure to get it!

Better than INCEPTION
December 17, 2010
This is an extraordinary film that is perfectly realized. It literally demands more than one viewing...which is the best reason to buy a film instead of renting. It is shameful that the American release has eliminated the commentary, Making-of, deleted scenes, etc (which ARE included on the U.K. disc). But better to get this disc than not have it at all.

Exceptional film!

So...did you enjoy INCEPTION? I've spoken to some who found TRIANGLE to be a better movie, after seeing it. I certainly agree! Lots of replay value here. Nice BD picture and sound quality also. Ingenious and intriguing...buying this movie is a no-brainer...it belongs in every film lover's collection. Do yourself a favor...don't miss this one!

Daryl is correct...

...this movie is from Warner Bros, not Disney. And the earlier 2003 movie (with Jason Isaacs as Hook) was from Columbia.

Good Movie
By JR424 from Buchanan, MI
The video is awful. Very poor transfer. I also got Jaws 2 and Jaws: The Revenge and they do have very good video quality. Shame on Universal.

The 3D transfer looks better than the 2D, fortunately. Still had issues related to the original source material but some of the problems on the 2D version were fixed for the 3D.
