No slippage, added great control and feel for the trigger on shooter games. This is great for nervous wrecks like me who shakes in climactic moments of the game and who easily get frustrated after dying repeatedly (lol). I bought two sets for my two DS-6axis controllers and will buy for every controller I purchase in the future!
Plus, it snaps on easily and gets you going in no time. It may feel awkward at first but getting used to it is a breeze! So what are you waiting for reading this review?
Go on and buy this now!!!!! At a great price, you will never regret these little saviours!
What's great about it: Made everything ridiculously easy (shooters, action games, racing etc.!)
What's not so great: None, nada, non, wala, aneyo...in every language!

I am back to Rapture! This game is a blast and although it starts out kind of slow, the pace picks up not long afterwards. I feel more powerful and more ready to face "...them Big Daddies..." now that my one-two punch system is more efficient and time-saving (thus, life-saving). I have been saving my lil sisters so far and i'll kill 'em all later on my second playthrough...lol...but it doesn't matter to Big Sister as she is really angry!
Multiplayer is crazy fun but takes time to apply Bioshock's somewhat clunky/clumsy control...Honestly, this is the only plus-factor to this installment as to me, the first Bioshock is better story-wise with both being beautiful graphically and are engaging.
graphics: 10 sound: 10 gameplay/controls: 8 story: 8 (Bioshock 1 is better story-wise) length: 9 (lots of things to explore...and splice!) A.I.: 9.5 (they're fast and ain't so dumb...I tell you)
Over-all: 9/10...
"...daddy, it's dancing!..." says the lil sister...I say, 2K, go on and dance you victory dance!
What's great about it: Coming back to Rapture and killing them splicers an' Big Daddies (and Sisters)

This docu is great for all KB24 fans out there like me (sorry Melo) who wants to witness how he directs (and misdirects) his team on any game they play. I say misdirect as there are some plays in the featured game (vs SAS) where his instruction weren't really working for LAL. This docu also provides a rare glimpse of how business minded this great player is and how he treats basketball as not only a game but as a "job" (after all, he gets paid the big $$$).
I personally liked the opportunity that I had knowing KB24 better thru Spike's lenses and being able to give a good amount of respect to him not only as a great player but also as a team leader. What we know outside thru watching him on a regular telecast isn't the complete picture at all. Love him or hate him, one who watches this would give the man more respect for the above reason (and also for his work dedication as everybody in the league knows). One would also see how he respects, in his own words, the "great" players on the other teams (in this docu, the SAS Big Three and Bowen) as well as his own team and coaches, specifically Phil and his HS coach. This and other cool, positive and negative traits of KB24 on the court are depicted, raw and uncensored (yes, some parts are trash talks against players).
It is also amazing how KB24, in his greatness and star status, acknowledges how stupid or how idiotic some of his plays are in that SAS game. This goes to show that even stars like him are in fact still human (not super humans) and commits mistake and he just puts it in humorous perspective. Like KB24 said, it's all about business AND having fun.
I gave one star (I wouldn't give it any star rating at all if only they allowed me) on "acting" as the whole isn't acting at all. The whole docu is candid and undirected (well, except for the cameramen, I guess) and relies solely on Kobe being Kobe on court on a regular game. A such some people may not like the camera shots were done as at times it can be very fast-paced and dizzying. Also, some parts of the docu are pretty much uncensored so be prepared to hear on court trash talks and cold cussing from almost everybody KB24's mic has picked up (primarily his own words lol).
To reiterate, this docu is a good collectors' item for KB24 fans like me. Buy it and enjoy!
What's great about it: KOBE BRYANT on spotlight (yet again), Free collector's card

Amazing game to usher in the new decade of gaming!

You should brace up for a hybrid of GoW, 300(the PSP game) and Demon's Soul kinda game... The over-all atmosphere is immersive albeit it looks cartoonish for the most part. The characters were sort of stripped of "grim-ness" maybe to appeal more to younger audiences and add a lightened ambience in the otherwise brutal gameplay. Speaking of that, the controls are easy to learn and combos do not take a while to learn. That makes this game very engaging and entertaining (so far)...HACK and SLASH is the key element in the gameplay (button mashing,eh?). So that means this aspect of the game makes up for the slightly disappointing graphics element as I mentioned above. Sound is also great but otherwise generic, action-type.
Now, in terms of cut-scenes, it's like watching an animated fantasy-action-religious movie at the same time as the whole story is somewhat based on the Bible's last book, the Revelation (Apocalypse). Being the first of the Horseman, WAR, you embark on a war for your own salvation of existence after being fooled into starting the final battle. Where this game will take my character? Can't wait to see...
It's amazing how a great game like this would be deprived of the hype (reminds me of Demon's Soul) like the one bestowed on CoDMW4 or AC2. Hope experiences like mine would drive sales of this beautiful game.
What's great about it: Easy to learn, vibrant graphics, gameplay
What's not so great: Looks cartoonish, somewhat repetitive

First up, thank you Best Buy for including this in your BF and the 4-day before the BF sale...I think it's one of the best BD deal this holiday shopping season.
I've read the book twice and I was expecting the film adaptation to be exactly as what it is in the prints. But no, there were some tweaks that don't clear up the plot. I suggest that people read the book first (for those who never went to the theaters to watch it) before watching it.
The film atmosphere is the closest one can be to the Catholicism's seat. It feels like you've watched a travel channel program or something. Acting-wise, Hanks was really into it. And add the other A-list (lesser-known) actors and what we have is a great acting team.
If you would take notice above as I stated in the "what's not so great", you would probably agree with me if you've read the book first. I mean, I don't want to be a spoiler so I suggest you read the first few pages of the book and there you will find the answer, well explained, why it seemed to really happen in a 24-hour period.
I rate this film a B+...
PS: The BD-format is fantastic as is with the included extras and the audio book.
What's great about it: the "twist"; make "DV extras" above into "BD extras"
What's not so great: accdg to the movie, this kind of plot can happen in a 24 hour period?

Hands-down the best comics hero-based video game so far. From the visual details to gameplay, there is non comparable to its genre (or sub-genre). It's like playing a whole Batman movie and directing each and every scene there is in the game. Well, I say that coz of the excellent cinematics and dialogue lines(not too cheesy) that adds to the excitement of playing the game. I'm 70% midway through the game and 20 more Riddler stuffs to go and I'm loving it.
One of the downsides is boss fight. It seems like it's too easy to go through and some are repetitive and that makes it sort of boring to play over and over again. I don't mind going through a lot of "armed thugs" as long as they offer me more challenge as I role-play Batman. And speaking of armed thugs, detective mode comes in OVERLY handy that it makes the game so easy at times. Hard-core gamers shouldn't dare try use it to be worthy of being called "hardcore" gamers lol. I sometimes dont even use it to make the game a little harder.
All in all, gameplay is really fun and it's so cool knocking down thugs with combo moves to go with it's amazing cinematics. I definitely recommend Arkham Asylum.
What's great about it: Playing as Batman, Stealth tactics, gadgets, Joker's humor
What's not so great: Relies heavily on "detective mode", boss fight

If you're looking for an entry-level racing experience, go with this one. Guaranteed to teach you the basics and beyond on driving in Wii. Will make you spend countless hours playing it. Although the graphics look childish, the game play is a bomb! Wi-fi multiplayer is a great addition to this game. Certainly a great stepping stone to other racing games such as the NFS Series.
What's great about it: Racing...free WiiWheel...Mario characters...wi-fi enabled
any HDTV with HDMI capability... either a 720 or a 10180 will do. save some money and get a 720 and you wouldn't notice any difference unless you have a robotic eye.
