Knowing the fact that the same developers from Hyrule Warriors made this game, I had realistic expectations. While I wouldn't consider myself a Dragon Quest fan, they did well to honor the most iconic enemies and appearances Dragon Quest fans will undoubtedly love. At the end of it all, I have the same feeling I have about Hyrule Warriors. If you're a fan of the IP this game draws upon, you need not be so apprehensive: it's fun, it's competently developed in all departments, and will make you smile from time-to-time. Just be wary of extreme repetition, a small roster, framerate stutters, and a cumbersome menu interface.
I give Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Yada Yada Yada... an 8/10.

Simply put, the remaster work done on Gears of War is nothing short of impressive. What's MORE, and this adds to the value proposition, is that the rest of the series will be free for owners of this game as they're added to the Xbox 360 BC titles for the Xbox One. Or in other words, if you're a newcomer to the series, this purchase is a no-brainer!
