I'll admit that I was honestly disappointed with this season because it seemed like the writers just weren't "there" per se, which in turn, reflects upon how the acting is carried out. Let's face it, every series has a bad season and this just happened to be the one for me regarding Arrow. I would have been perfectly fine with the series ending after season 3---bad guys were dispatched, the guy got the girl, and everyone had their happy ever after.
Hopefully season 5 is better.

One of the best films of it's kind, ID4 really delivers in the style of other great films- That being said, to the review, ID4 Tells the story of (gasp) an alien attack on our world ( long before Falling skies) the actions taken for contact are rebuffed, and most of the coastal cities are wiped out. Nuclear weapons are used without success, so the hero's turn to cyber warfare. They succeed and attack the aliens just as the aliens close in . My best pert in the entire film is pilot Case's final lines "I'm Back" just before he destroys the alien craft ( Can't say the rest of the line in the review-see the film -it is that good) So, in closing, I heartily recommend this feel good film. It really does live up to it's billing.

He decides to order his lieutenant, Kyle Reese, on a journey through time back to his mother's childhood, to protect her from the Terminators and ensure that John Connor won't be retconned out of existence. Upon arriving in the past, however, Kyle is in for a serious shock. Sarah Connor is an orphan, her own mother dead at the hands of a Terminator. But a second Terminator is now protecting her - and trying to make the girl to accept a destiny she wants no part in. Stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, J.K. Simmons, Jai Courtney.

This movie has received a bad rap from some trusted reviewers like Rotten Tomatoes, which I respect. I hemmed and hawed about buying it - would it suck and would I regret that I had wasted my money? The answer was No both times. If you like the Terminator series - I don't see how you can go wrong with Terminator Genesis. I felt moments of nostalgia, I laughed and at one point flinched like a little girl from a "scare" I hadn't anticipated. I actually enjoyed the ride. I had a nice evening. Shakespeare it ain't, but it was definitely worth the price of the download easily.

I've waited so long for this! Great pacing. Mile a minute action. Back story on Rip Hunter. We live in great "times" LOL.
Wonderful to see Hawkman and Hawkwoman portrayed so well, despite their position at DC as second-rate heroes. The addition of Heatwave and Captain Cold makes for great fun as well. Everything you want from a comic book on the silver screen. I'm a fan!

The greatest ROM COM ever made. I don't think there's any denying the opening remarks of Peter Falk when he says this story has, "Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles..." The perfect date movie. But you know, it's more than that. It's really about true love in general. And while we may not all experience it in our love life, surely, there's true love from someone for everyone. The story is really about the true love of the grandfather for the grandson. If I was an actor who needed to produce some tears on cue, I'd think of the love the grandfather showed for the grandson as he reads the story while he's lying sick in bed. Or the true love my mother expressed for me and I for my son. After all, true love is the greatest thing in the world! (Except for a nice MLT: Mutton, Lettuce, and Tomato sandwich where the mutton is nice and lean and the lettuce is crisp) - You'll get that part after you watch this masterpiece.

Hotel Transylvania 2 picks up as Johnny and Mavis begin a family of their own. All of our favorite characters return, and some new ones emerge (enter Dennis!). There are some pretty humorous scenes here (a revival of the infamous "I don't say bleh, bleh, bleh" exchange, and some semi-realistic-but-funny pregnancy references).
Mavis gets to explore more outside Hotel/Castle walls, and Drac faces off with his own unaccepting father (Mel Books).

A decent CGI children's actioner with just a couple of quibbles;
1) Vikings didn't have Scot's accents.

Having said that, this is actually a darn good movie experience. Aimed at kids there's a lot of sappy moments that actually put a smile on my face. The dragon itself, the main dragon character that is, is a cross between a black cat and a flying lizard, and maybe a little puppy dog too.
I don't have much to say about this film other than you don't need to see it in 3D. It works just as well as a normal movie going experience. The characters are decent enough, and the character design is also excellent to fit the voices, and vice versa for the casting. Major kudos to lead Jay Baruchel, and the animators who storyboarded and skethed out the scenes before animating them.
A very respectable CGI toon experience. Great stuff.

Great game. The campaign had some really cool set pieces, as well as a decent (albeit short and watered down) story(ies). Overall, the campaign was much better than many of the previous Battlefield titles. However, my one complaint is that, while some of the stories did elicit at least some sort of emotional response, the campaign itself could have been much stronger had they focused on one (or maybe even two) specific stories, rather than each mission being their own separate thing. It is hard to become attached to the characters when you only spend an hour with them before the story ends.
