since the hinge engages at 14" tall, this turntable will not fit in my vertical space of my entertainment center. but, if i could easily remove the dustcover, play records, and replace the dustcover at the end of the night, without turning the turntable around in a tight space, or fumbling at the back without being able to easily see, it might work for us. i am hoping the hinge is a simple slotted situation, you can remove and replace without screws and flashlights, etc., if so...then it might work for me. thanks for your quick reply. i only have 10 inches of vertical space, so there is no room to mess around and try to get a hinge to engage, or screw and unscrew things every night. thank you!
