Half the fun of the old Mario Party games was the festering of hatred for your closest friends as they got the stars before you. The everyone-in-a-vehicle-in-the-same-spot style of this Mario Party (and I think 9, too) just doesn't do it for me.
That said, the mini games are very fun! The Bowser Party mini games are a bit lacking in number, but the regular mini games are wonderful--if only they were more prevalent.
Bowser Party addition is a novel idea and can be fun under the right circumstances. Essentially, the non-Bowser players are running away from the person with the gamepad (Bowser), which would be much more exciting if Bowser didn't have four dice, sometimes five, and had the option to reroll once per turn. It keeps the mini games coming, but, again, since it's the Bowser Party mode, there aren't a wide variety of mini games.
At the end of the day, though, it's a fun game when you have 4 or 5 people around to play it with. It's mostly about playing with friends. And since it's relatively cheap if you get it without the amiibo, I could probably feel safe recommending this. As long as you have people to play it with.

Hilarious, full, and fun

If you've played the first portal, you may have been disappointed by how short it was. Well, Portal 2 fixes that while keeping every moment fun and funny through its characters and plot. Its got some great head-scratchers, and, in my opinion, the graphics hold up to this day (but maybe I'm just used to the Source engine).
Robust single player experience and a co-op (both local splitscreen and online multiplayer) makes the game very great. Replay value may be somewhat lacking, but I can guarantee that, once you come back to the game a couple years after beating it, you'll have forgotten all the puzzles and all the dialogue, so it's all worth it in the end.

The story may be cheesy, the secondary characters not pristine, but BOY OH BOY, is the gameplay wonderful. Battle is always exciting, great combo moves, great learning curves, etc. This was my first Devil May Cry game, so I wasn't tied to white-haired-Dante nostalgia. Cycling through weapons is very easy (holding down the trigger buttons), and makes for great combo opportunities utilizing several different weapons at once. Great game, great buy.

This game is so great, I've beaten it probably 8 times? I'll go with 8.
It's a heartbreaking story, doesn't feel at all like a typical zombie game, and looks absolutely beautiful. Naughty Dog deserves great big pats on the back, and this is coming from someone who despised the Uncharted series. If you're in for a great single player experience, you need this game.

You should probably only buy this if you're a fan of the franchise. XIII-2 has a weird story that definitely doesn't seem to fit in to the theme XIII played off of. Bunch of time travel stuff. The battle system is basically the same, but leveling up is MUCH less rewarding. It takes some getting used to, but it's not BAD.

The only downfall for Bayonetta on PS3 is the fact that it's SUPER SLOW to load. This can be sorta fixed by downloading the patch and installing game data onto your PS3. Other than that, it's basically one of the best action games I've ever played, only to be dwarfed by Bayonetta 2.

Favorite game got a reboot

I may be biased, because this is my favorite game, but I will definitely tell you my two small beefs with the 3D remaster of Majora's Mask. First, however, the best things:
-3D Anju and Kafei heartbreak
-3D Nostalgia
-Somehow improved controls (I say somehow, because I wasn't even using the new 3DS, so I don't have the extra stick for the camera--regardless, most everything feels smoother and more intuitive)
-Playing the song of double time allows you to CHOOSE WHICH HOUR you want to fast forward to. No more being bound to going all the way to the next night or next dawn. So beautiful.

I could go on, but suffice it to say, the game feels on the whole more polished, and they put a lot of love into the remake. It's definitely worth the buy. But the two main beefs I have are small--swimming as a zora is way less awesome. The dropping to the bottom/surfacing is sorta janky, and in order to swim such that you can dolphin dive out and into the water, you have to expend magic. It's just a bummer that regular zora swimming was reduced to a slower, less maneuverable state.
Otherwise, the goron form took some getting used to, because rolling up into a ball is not undone with the release of A. You have to press A again which doesn't sound at all hard (and isn't) but when you want to get out of ball form super quickly (like, immediately after a ramp jump) it was easier to just be able to release A mid jump, so that the first thing you'd do upon landing would be unball.
</rant> This was a beautiful remake and my beefs are infinitesimally small compared to how nice everything else is. Nintendo kept the dark, creepy vibe, made the moon look way better (in my opinion) and delivered the game well.

Very good mechanical keyboard

I purchased this for gaming and it works like a charm. If you're looking into mechanical keyboards for long bouts of typing, you may want to look into a different type--the keys are appropriately mushy for gaming (double tapping, quick response, not much pressure to push), but also appropriately mushy for accidentally hitting adjacent keys when home-row typing quickly. Nothing constantly noticeable, but when I sit down and pound out a word document, there are typos that I blame on myself, and typos I blame on the keyboard.
The programmable buttons are very nice to have, and I LOVE the sound wheel on the side. Works very nicely with other Logitech devices via the Logitech Gaming Software!
