It seems to be doing what it is supposed to do. It was applied to the CPU and cooling fan heat sink. The temp monitor shows that it's doing it's job.

Wired connection not working
I bought the Belkin AC750 to replace the N600 - the AC750 wireless component works fine, but none of the 4 wired ports seem to want to connect to the internet (and thus I have to setup the router wireless as well). I have tried the turn off/turn on and matched the set-up items to the N600 that works wired - I took the first AC750 back thinking it was a bad unit, but the second one will not work either. I have been a Belkin supporter from the beginning of my computing, but getting ready to try a different brand if it cannot be solved. I need wired ports as well - the unit has them, why don't they work?
If you didn't reboot the modem, after you hooked up the router, I suggest that you do that and retry setting up the router again. Some modems have a reset button on the back, some you have to unplug power for 30 seconds or so than plug it back in so it'll reboot.
