I've been using this camera for over a year now and I still love it. I've had several other brands and this is the best quality by far. Lots of adjustments and options. Very good auto focus, but just turn off the digital focus entirely. I don't know why manufacturers even include it any more as it's so unsatisfactory. Love the video quality and doing a still in the midst of a video has resulted in some wonderful, high quality surprises. Be sure to purchase two extra batteries so you can keep one charging and still have a spare in your bag. And buy lots of extra SD cards. LOVE the easy on camera review and delete. HATE the website software, though. Really slow and cumbersome although there are some really nice edit options hidden amongst all the dross.

The camera mount is sturdy but rounded and small so, when it's attached, it impedes setting the camera flat on it's base, but you can still set it in the back so it's just a habit adjustment. Only wish it was lighter weight, but a trade off for sturdiness.
