These are a great idea, especially for an older person who might have issues bending over. We added a drip tray under the washer and needed a slight riser under the feet so the drawer would open so watch out for that. You'll want to raise the dryer to match just for looks/symmetry.

I don't see why these are sold separately since you can't operate without them. Dryers used to come with all the cords and hoses included as a pkg.. Yes, I can see you might need to buy a separate one as a replacement at some point during the life of the dryer, but this is just a new way to grab more of your money.
