I'm not a trendy person. I will never buy into the beats headphones nor will I buy into Bluetooth headsets. I've been buying these for a few years. Deep base, good sound isolation. I swear by these headphones. I can make calls, listen to music, etc with all the android phones I've had over the years.

I will go out on a limb AND argue anyone's opinion about this modern sci-fi classic. So believable and realistic. The story is simple: small team of uber smart and brave space explorers journey to the outer limitless cosmos to find a habitable planet because Earth is in bad shape. Crops are dying. Dust storms are so thick children are falling ill via inhalation.
One part scientific theory. One part action adventure. One part family drama. Equals another epic masterpiece from Christopher Nolan. A nearly perfect piece of cinema that had my wife & I in tears a few times even up to the end credits. A must see.

Fun Little Opus from Paul Thomas Anderson

I'm a huge fan of Paul Thomas Anderson. This is the only picture of his I didn't see theatrically. Kinda bummed by that. Except for Boogie Nights & There Will Be Blood many of his films are hard to explain, have a long running time and/or have a cult fan base. VICE is all of the above. You really need to pay attention to what's going on and like THE MASTER, the viewer could benefit from multiple viewings. The story is quite simple: femme fatale seeks private detective to help solve a case, mixed with a little CHINATOWN & THE LONG GOODBYE. Funny, quirky and gorgeously shot. Performances are top notch.

Great buy for the price

I'm a much bigger fan of the sequel but I couldn't screen a proper double feature without buying the 1st film. It was only $5 when I bought it and the transfer was really good--not too cleaned up and very film like in its presentation.

Back & forth I went on how to purchase the ALIEN films. Low & behold I saw this 4 film set on Blu-ray and scooped it up. Not really a fan of film 4 but to have 2 versions of each film included in this set was worth the price.
