I purchased the movie today and watched it and honestly it was a lot better than I expected it to be. The songs are pretty cheesy, bland and random (to me) but the story line is cute. The main villain though is kind of irritating to me, but for a kids movie I guess it makes sense the way Mattel made her. I think children will really enjoy this movie! I would give it a try and the moral of the story is a good lesson for young children as well! To believe in yourself and take a chance even though you might afraid to do something like given a speech in class, or to let your true colors shine.

A nice - if too brief - retrospective of everyone's favorite '60s singing family. Of course the usual suspects are here (The Rain, The Park, & Other Things, Indian Lake, We Can Fly, Hair). What makes it for me the best Cowsills set yet released is the inclusion of the stellar singles Silver Threads and Golden Needles and The Prophecy Of Daniel & John The Divine plus the original version of the Love American Style TV theme. A pre-stardom Most Of All leads off the set and a great track from Bill Cowsill's solo debut When Everybody's Here concludes it. It's all groovy. Check it out!

"Icon" isn't the greatest Thin Lizzy collection, but casual fans who can't find "Dedication" or "Definitive Collection" will think it's OK.
Serious music-buyers really should take the plunge and get "Dedication," if you can find it, and then follow that up with "Black Rose," "Jailbreak," "Bad Reputation," "Vagabonds of the Western World," "Johnny the Fox" and the live comps "Live and Dangerous" and "Still Dangerous." If you still need more Thin Lizzy, "Life/Live," "Fighting," "Thunder and Lightning," "Chinatown" and "Night Life" will do the trick. Really, there's no such thing as awful Thin Lizzy. Almost all of their albums were inspired.

When I started hearing "Smile" on the radio, I bought the cd. I can't tell you how much play this one cd has gotten. It goes with me in the car as I find it to have great feel-good driving music. I play it when I want to have music on around the house. The songs are well written in the story they tell. The lyrics are well put to the sounds of the music. I've definitely turned into an Uncle Kracker fan.

I have like every Queen compilation there is, and this is like the first one with like all encompassing song choices. Never have I seen "We Will Rock You", "We Are The Champions", and "Another One Bites the Dust" on the same cd as "Radio Ga Ga", "I Want it All", and "Stone Cold Crazy" for example. The first three were always on Queens Greatest Hits(Red), and the latter three were always on Classic Queen(Blue). So, I love that I can have them all, and five other songs all on one cd, finally.

What's not so great: My one quibble, and it's a small one, is that there is no booklet. Just like a two page sleeve with who wrote which song
