It does help if you've seen the first film, but not completely necessary. I really loved the first movie, so this couldn't possibly match up, but it's consistent and creepy/scary in all the right ways. This is an interesting and more original concept in the very cliched horror genre.

I was pretty unfamiliar with the game (I'm NOT a gamer) so I went into this with a fresh eye and no expectations. There are elements of Lord of the Rings and many standards in the fantasy genre. Wish this would have been around for a couple more seasons. Wraps up many of the dangling story lines and if you liked the first three seasons then this is a no brainer. See how it all ends. As gory, violent and naughty as ever, it doesn't pull any punches. Eliza Dushku joins the cast in a great role as a drug addled FBI agent. Job is priceless, as usual.

I love this whole series and this may be my favorite. I'll say I'm NOT a fan of Lady Gaga, so that's saying a lot. She does inhabit the role perfectly. If you love vampire stuff, this is a no brainer. The writing is top notch as usual, with lots of interesting characters and twists. Jessica Lange was missed but I hear she'll be back next season.

Many feel they waited far too long for a sequel and it looks like it's being set up for a trilogy. That being said, at least the original director is back, the FX are excellent and it's a fun "popcorn entertainment" kind of film. It's all predictable modern sci-fi fun. Acting is adequate and par for the course.

There haven't been many live action, modern Tarzan movies in the last few decades (besides the excellent "Greystoke The Legend of Tarzan Lord of the Apes" from 1983) so this is a welcome addition. Good story, tied into real historical events. The gorgeous Margot Robbie plays a very feisty Jane, who barely needs "saving" from her mate. And when is Christoph Waltz not fun to watch as a villain?
