This TV allowed us to get rid of the fire stick and the ROKU. Great picture , and sound and the remote works with our Samsung Blue Ray. Very happy.
It would have been nice if the HDMI ports faced down instead of straight out the back as we hung it on the wall. Just a short trip to Amazon and got some 90 degree adapters and now its on the wall up tight. Perfect.

The unit works well but the included connector adapters were not correct for my laptop. I then had to go online and find the one I needed and call a support number and pay for (shipping only) of $10.00 to get the correct connector. No charge for needed connectors does not mean no cost.

If the power is out for just a couple minutes and then comes on again, will this be sufficient to hold?
not sure what you are trying to keep going but I have it hooked up to my LG 55 inch TV and cable box and internet modem and router and it will hold for at least 5 minutes , this is the limit so far from my experience.

what wire going in to tv do I use ? and do I need anything else besides the cable box,, I have Comcast,,, that's right im a dummy. Do they make a instruction book for dummies
All you should need is an HDMI cable to go from cable box to tv , and enough power outlets for both units.
