This series doesn't just push out yearly after yearly entries. It takes its time in development and refines every aspect before release. No wonder it's the best entry yet. This series is known for its hours upon hours of gameplay for 100% completionists. You'll have content for months if not years. The world is gorgeous, it is oozing with style, and it doesn't change what has worked in the past. This sets the bar for new JRPGS and may be just what the series needed to finally break into mainstream gamers' eyes
Persona combines dungeon crawling, sim romance, dialogue options, combinations, and a bunch of other facets of typical RPGs. It's one of a kind and it meshes it all together flawlessly

Add this Nintendo Joy-Con to your Nintendo Switch console so friends can join in. Depending on the game, its two parts can be split or given to a second player, and it can be joined together or connected to the console for handheld play. Each part of this Nintendo Joy-Con has its own buttons, an accelerometer and a gyroscope for independent control.

Not exactly. The joycons are quite versatile and I am impressed with the thought Nintendo put into the Switch and all of its accesories.
The grips combine the two into a serviceable controller. Yes, the pro controller and any other standard controller are more comfortable. But this will do.
The real strength shines in using each as separate controllers. You in essence get two controllers for the price of one. This won't do for every game, but it will do for many of the better simplistic multiplayer games (Bomberman, most likely Mario Kart)
Nintendo even includes a top snap on contraption for more heft and comfort to be added.
I've heard no complains from any of my casual gaming friends regarding comfort or confusion.
Invest in a pair or two of joycons for multiplayer sessions and grab yourself a pro controller for any extended sessions on single player games

Gaming has been changed forever

Let me get my viewpoint across.
I have experienced the switch 95% of the time in its portable functionality. It works beautifully. Comfortable, convenient, uncompromised. The graphics are breath taking and Nintendo has truly developed an industry changing machine.
How the switch takes off from here is up in the air. The wii as a commercial success, but had a terrible 3rd party support library for the most part. The Wii U was even worse. It's no secret that Nintendo struggles with third party support and get late ports 5 years later (I'm looking at you Skyrim).
But the technology and capability is here for something never seen before. Propping my switch up and getting some zelda in at any given time has been amazing. 8 player bomberman has been a blast with friends. And seeing the indie support brings tears to my eyes (I'm a big ps vita fan and I see alot of similarities)
All in all, the system is great. I wouldn't blame you for holding out until at least Mario comes out in the winter. But do not sleep on what the switch has to offer at this very moment

This game has been out a while digitally on STEAM and released digitally on consoles. As a big fan of physical games, I was beyond ecstatic to support this developer in purchasing this indie title.
It is quite awesome. It appears crude and "low budget" in nature, but that's part of its charm. Don't judge a book by its cover. There are a ton of power ups, enemies, boss battles. The dungeon is endless and the difficulty is quite brutal. It's a great game for a quick gameplay session or extended time.
I'd also like to note that the first batch of games come with a full manual and stickers! No switch game has come with a manual thus far.
It's a great unique game on the switch at the moment with nothing comparable

There are worse games where you do the same thing over and over again. The great co-op action keeps it fun. It reminds me of Destiny in the way that the core gameplay mechanics are solid but the shell is bare. The variety is lacking, but the game is fun. Isn't that what you want out of a game in the end? It's certainly fixable with DLC and patch updates. In the end, I'd recommend waiting for a complete edition or a sale. There are so many new games out on PS4 with more rewarding gameplay and longer.

I will judge this game for what it is, rather than its price tag. It certainly is not worth its full cost at $50, but it sure is fun. I'd say wait until it goes on sale (although that's risky because this is a very niche game to begin with, might be hard to find a copy in the long run)
If you ever played a bomberman game, you know what to expect. If you have not, it is quite simple. You plop bombs on the ground to destroy structures, collect powerups, and ultimately try to kill everyone else. Last man standing wins. It becomes pure chaos with 8 players and is a blast! It is simple to grasp but difficult to master. With time, you will learn how to optimize power ups and cause chain reactions and strategic placement. But it is also fun for beginners to just go wild and have fun. A fun game with friends and family. Definitely a must buy eventually for any switch owner at a price point you feel comfortable with. It's one of the few multiplayer offerings at the moment.

Zelda has always been iconic and true to its target audience. It's a very bold thing to say this game takes its tried and true formula and throws it out the window. Linear gameplay is GONE. Crafting materials? Durability? WHAT?! Yes, this is still a Zelda game. And it works. Flawlessly. You can say nintendo has modernized Zelda to what has become expected from games nowadays. Everything about this game is gorgeous and works. You will get lost for hours before you even think about advancing further in the story and that is the beauty of it. Really bad framerate, better on WiiU

This is a case of where a good game simply doesn't translate over to handheld. 2DS and older 3DS barely make this playable. You'll need the new 3DS to even make it bearable. The smaller screen makes menus look clustered and graphics look laughable. Nintendo was probably aware of this which is why they probably packed in Linkle and other DLC characters to boost sales. Don't fall for it. If you truly want to experience the best of Hyrule Warriors, grab yourself a WiiU copy and buy the Legends DLC. If you must try this on the 3DS, be sure you have the new 3DS. You've been warned.

As with most vita games, you probably know what you're already getting into. It's a very niche console that caters well to its target audience. If you are familar with the Fate/STAY anime, you will love this game. It's a faithful adaptation to the universe. If you're just contemplating this on a whim, you are probably better off with something else.
Think of Dynasty Warriors to get an idea of the gameplay and level of repetition. It's fun but it wears off quickly. So the source material needs to be important to you. It was for me and that was enough to keep my attention throughout.
