One of the brst films of the year

I'm going to stay away from the politics and controversy surrounding this film and just stick to reviewing the blu-ray. Though slightly over-priced (no doubt an effort by WB to cash in on this film's enormous popularity), this is a great looking picture befitting such a recent release and a thunderous Dolby Atmos lossless soundtrack. There's about an hour of solid BTS featurettes and this BBY exclusive version comes with an additional 30 minute on-disc doc.

this is a tricky one to review. I think you have to cut VH a little bit of slack because they're (obviously) past their peak here but if you know anything about LIVE VH (regardless of time period) you know that they are raw and improvisational when they play live, especially DLR's vocals. Casual fans will think this album sounds crummy but lifers know better. If you want to hear the songs as originally intended, listen to the original recordings. But if you can appreciate the high wire act that is VH LIVE, then you're in for a treat.
